This is true I used to work for company X doing printer security testing some of the stuff you coujld do would freak you out - like uploading a script that allows a virus to be pushed out from a hard drive on an MFP Device using the onboard webserver. and stuff. It is kind of interesting but you could crash a network doing a TCP Flood as well - Good for Hackers, Bad for IT Departments.
For a while Carly was ok, as a former HP employee I remember when she took over, The whole internal culture of the company changed, There was a lack of communication between all the different divisions and sometimes between departments within the division.
I would find it hard to belive that anyone could make a windows box with SAP secure in 2 days unless it was in a lead walled room, with no windows and no connection to any network. Dont get me wrong, i think windows does have its features that linux is missing at this point. But why not give us more information? Were you using Gentoo, or Red Hat and all the other random information that us geeks thrive on. Or their admins got frustrated it and just said fudge it and pleaded to use windows.
*shrug* i dont know i use both linux and windows and mac os x at my house, granted i am not running SAP, but still i have alot of good things and bad things i could report about my network. i guess it is all in how you look at the issue.

So I guess it is all perspective on the situation

So i guess the sad ending to this story is that 1. Someone took the time to read the EULA amd 2. Read that much into it.
