  1. That's me! on Slow Starters Have Higher IQ? · · Score: 1

Actually this is very much me! I was a very slow starter - I scraped through the GCSE's at school (16-year old graduation level in the UK), with a B and 2 Cs, went to a technical college. I think what made a real difference is that at the beginning of my teens I started playing chess and programming computers. By the time I was 25 I was a games programmer, and now I run my own business doing contracts.

I think its hard to tell though whether it was due to the slow start longer cortex spurt thing, or whether that has more to do with finding something that my brain actually enjoyed doing. I guess we'll never know!

I think he is that just because of the things he's said. You're right though if you're pointing out that I don't know how smart everyone that ever lived is! I only know a small subset of the population of earth, but he's certainly the smartest person that I've ever known or read the writings or sayings of! Its just soooo intelligent!

  4. Stop putting people in a box on RFID, Sign of the (End) Times? · · Score: 1

Christians are people trying (but mostly failing), to be like Christ and trying, (but mostly failing) to follow him. He was the smartest guy who ever lived, and you just have to read what he said and get to know him rather than judge him by the failures that follow him - idiots like me.

We don't write off technology judging it based on my mother's skill at a computer (she did a word processing course no less!), so don't do anything similar such as write off Jesus because of the skipful of mistakes his followers make.

I agree - so many christians are stupid, and I'm one of them (which doesn't mean I agree with the RFID = end times stuff - I thought it was all picture language. The book of Revelation is prophecy and the bible says that God speaks to his people in riddles - I would never be as definate about the interpretation in revelation as that RFID person is).

I couldn't agree more (I'm from UK too). Apparently its because of farmers and schoolkids going to school in the dark in the far North reaches of Scotland & the shetlands, etc. Excuse me but why does the WHOLE of the UK need to change its clocks because the a local council in Scotland can't be bothered to ask the local schools/businesses to start an hour later !? Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

    1. 65% of all spam originates in the US, so creating law in the US is a good start (source: CipherTrust) 2. Regarding spammers in Taiwan (for example). Extradition is irrelavant - international law does not work like that. No country in the world cares what additional stupid little laws another has, never mind a state/county law that isn't applicable nationally. They wouldn't even extradite someone from Colorado to Utah.
