If this is true, I might as well down a forty for breakfast (Eggs, Bacon, & Colt 45...yummy) as I'll be just as safe on the road (with my cell phone off instead).
I agree that one device would be a lot easier than two, however I wonder if the battery life of these phone ipods to come will be tolerable. Thestorage space on these phones may be greatly improved, but if I can't listen to my tunes for 3 hours+ while studying and leave my phone on all week, then I'd rather keep my iPod and cell phone separate.
IE7 is going to be as bloasted as the last IE browser. With each fix and update they make, they'll create 10 new bugs and errors. Any one else noticed this pattern?
I just love how apple is coming out with updated computers while microsoft works to restrict updates (as they should). What's up with all the updates and restricitons, I think people want something a little more revolutionary and a little less restrictionary!
Doctors deserve a little reprieve (25k), and this open source system will definitely help with communications and organization on patients. However I'm sure HIPPA is all over the docs and the system. With all the malpractice suits and red tape doctors have to put up with, they could use all the help/support they can get. As much as doctors do for us, it's good to see we still have some respect for them. Let's see what else our government has in store for us...
I see the movie Hackers coming true...50 FBI rushing into our rooms as we are alleged hackers/spoofers/or even/.'ers. They'll try to make us out like terrorists and hang us out to dry. I sure hope the senate votes better than the house!
This is great, once the hackers "reach the next level" and fix software issues (maybe get notepad or something on these things), I can run an editor on my psp and use it to write my essays, scripts, and programs. Of course I could do it with my computer, but it would be so much cooler and ironic to do my essays on a gaming console. And for those of us with psp's and no pdas, we're set now;-).
I once saw the results of study comparing test scores between kids who watched 12+ hours of television a week and those who spent 12+ hours a week on computers [The two were mutually exclusive in the study). The results: Those who spent their time watching TV saw decreases in their test scores, whereas those who spent their time on computers saw an increase in their test scores! With this push for IPTV, it seems like Big Business is trying to dumb us down! We already know that government and Big Business are sleeping together. I sense a conspiracy!!!

3D?! Do we get to wear those old school red and blue glasses to operate these chips?
I didn't know they had Computers for Dummies in the 70s. Maybe we haven't come so far after all.
