Mind you the funniest one I have come across was a page about "sharp calculators classed as weapons. Well I suppose a (literally) sharp calculator could be!
I've been plagiarized once. This bitch had copied one of my articles I wrote in a Proceedings of a conference, with pictures and everything, and used it in an overview article. The worst part of it is that my professor didn't care about it. I'm still mad, and it happened 15 years ago.
I've had a student in a class plagiarize my own articles back at me. In retrospect it was both funny and sad, but at the time I was very exasperated that they could be that stupid. No, they didn't get a pass in the class. Nor did they get an opportunity to retake; their original work was even worse too, so much so that if they're reading here, I'd advise them to keep on plagiarizing instead of trying to have original thoughts.
It could have been even funnier if one of your colleagues marked it without realising before you saw it!

Lol. Just l-o-l. The stock market has no value. It's merely a price-discovery method for secondary markets in securities. You could destroy all the electronic markets in the world tomorrow and we'd just go back to rooms full of people shouting at eachother to do the trading. Yes it would be a little less efficient but no real harm would be done.
Except they wouldn't. Even if they did, at what value would they start the shares? Who would own what?
They can go suck eggs. Or create their own alternate internet.
Seriously the fact that they might do this is one reason why you want a generally accepted governance. At the moment you remove piratebay from a DNS server and everyone is affected. If each company has its own DNS servers then you just remove it from one country and have to get court orders all over the place. Your email to sheila@hotgirls.com might get to one person if you are in the USA but someone entirely different in Europe if the web is fragmented.
I think we are taking significant risks with the stock market and automated trading. It is now a complex system of interracting algorithms that nobody understands or can understand. I have heard it said that the fluctuation patterns we are similar to fluctuations in chaotic systems before a state change. It is entirely possible that the markets could lose most of their value in a matter of minutes, before anyone knows what's happening - and the unforeseen interaction of algorithms could put a whole generation into poverty
Ok, ignoring the fact that you're citing the Daily Mail of all things as a accurate source of information, it also doesn't say that there is any such legal responsibility.
Yes, the law had a loophole in it that could be exploited by lieing, so they closed it by just penalising everyone, whether they are innocent or guilty - great job!
No they set a legal obligation which you are guilty of if you do not fulfil. It is part of the Highway Code and will be taught to drivers after 1988, and it is an obligation of drivers who have already passed the test to keep up with changes to motoring law.
One of those FAQs is "what if I don't know who was driving", and the answer they give is something along the lines of "you are legally required to tell us who was driving". So there you go, they are stating that if you don't know who was driving you have a legal obligation to commit purgury.
No - the point is that the registered keeper is legally responsible for knowing who was driving. If you don't know who was driving you commit a different offence, but the original speeding offence cannot be charged. To avoid this being used frivolously the penalty is higher than is likely for a speeding offence. It is clear that if you don't know who's driving you should plead guilty to failing to identify the driver and take the fine and penalty points - not to commit purgery.
Does anyone "slightly prefer" Romney over Obama? Or Obama over Romney? As an observer from the other side of the pond everyone thinks that one or the other is a great saviour and if the other gets in it will be the end of the USA!
As people cut back on their budgets they are eating more beans. Beans for lunch, beans for breakfast, and beans for tea. This leads directly to increased methane emissions.
Fixed point decimal is no better at representing fractions than fixed point binary. Nothing will help if you need 1/3 of a penny.
To be pedantic it is better - a bases ability to express numbers without fractions is dependent on the number of prime factors they have. Decimal has 2 and 5 so fractions depending on multiples of 5 can be expresses without recurring.
Don't panic. If you have a Huawei phone just fill a bucket with water and drop the phone in. After 12 hours you can safely dispose of t in the bin. Then go and buy a phone made in the West like the....uhm..... well... do without a phone.
As far as I know, Facebook has representatives on every country it wants to make some money.
More to the point he probably displays things like his real name, schools attended, etc. on his timeline, so the police don't have to subpoena his details.
The last six comments are a waste of space ..
Now you'v added your's that's seven .... Oh wait I've just made it eight.

This is actually old news... And it has been quickly determined that the accusations are bogus.
Do you have a reference to this?

(Make that twice)
I don't want to upload my memories to the cloud, just to have a cease and desist notice because I remember a rectangular table with rounded corners.
The page gets into an infinite loop with HttpsAnwhere as it redirects back to an http site!
I read all the way to the end hoping to get to the nymphomaniac fembot or the cloned and imprinted sex-kitten
Now nor when I am retired in 15 years
That's what you think now!

... a system where entire economies depend on lies and empty promises to stay afloat.
That could also be a description of Representative democracy.
No, they can't.
That's why I wear a tinfoil jockstrap

OK, here's another reference: Failing to Identify Driver (Failing to Supply Information)

Or maybe no. Forever is a long time

(well its as good as any other theory I've read)
Did the 3G equipment come from Huwei or ztc?
