The problem is that "evolution" isn't one clearly defined topic but a bunch of closely related ones. There will be unanswered questions no matter how much we uncover and there will be (and should be) skeptics asking what those missing bits mean.

I agree 100%. The thing is the skeptics should understand that they have to provide falsifiable hypothesises, and that their model should explain the known evidence at least as well as the current theories. Personally I think that the theory of evolution by natural selection will be augmented rather than replaced. It is quite valid to ask why (for example) evolution seems to go fast at some times and then be followed by periods of stability, rather than at a steady state. To just say "it must be wrong cos the bible says so" is not a valid criticism tough.

Actually it is an area that I walk in a couple of times a week, and it is very accurate. The woods have spread a little further down the valley, and there is an "unofficial" path running at the top west part of the valley that is not shown (but its probably not a legal right of way), but the terrain is definitely accurate.Since the data is from Ordinance Survey maps in the UK I would expect nothing less.

I hate to say it but GP is telling the truth in the case of the UK, especially when it comes to walking trails. Look at this bing map view of a nearby valley. It clearly shows footpaths, contours, wooded areas, etc, you can see where to walk and how difficult the terrain will be. On the other hand the google map view of the same area shows the valley as a blank! I certainly find bing much better for hiking route planning, in fact I would go as far as to say its impossible on google.

That's pretty cynical. I do have great admiration for anyone who joins the military, for the simple reason they are putting their lives on the line. Granted not everything they are asked to do is worthwhile, but you can't argue that a country could do without a military. Affirmative action isn't intended to fix discrimination. Affirmative action is intended to fix the income gap caused by past discrimination. Fix that, and neighborhoods will integrate because the only way left to legally discriminate against anyone is via wealth. With integrated neighborhoods and (mostly) integrated schools and playmates, discrimination will (mostly) die away for that generation.

I don't see that happening much where I live. There are "rich black" neighbourhoods, where doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs live. There are rich Asian neighbourhoods, same thing. There are rich predominantly-white neighbourhoods, who do have one or two rich blacks or Asians, often very Westernised ones live.
