In an open office setting I often have to go to four floors to find a shitter. Then I have to stand on the seat because I don't want my ass touching it! I hate the open office!
Tabs!! I could so give a beat down to everyone who indents code with spaces. Thanks for bringing it up, now I'm just amp'ed up and ready to throw down!
I ran into this in college all of the time. During arguments people would assume that because I was white I couldn't understand what it meant to immigrate to the US and would say all sorts of asinine things to me. Then I would call them prejudiced for thinking that a white person couldn't have those experiences, since I immigrated and had to adapt to a new culture and learn a new language. People seemed totally dumbfounded that white people could be immigrants too!
I double checked by emailing to myself at a gmail account, then clicking the down arrow near the from line and checking to make sure the signature matched. Ever since I have had no issues with people receiving my emails at gmail.
Well, I am someone who normally voted conservative. I voted for Obama specifically because I did not like the Executive Branch power grabs of the Bush administration.
Basically, I believed the Obama's bullshit about an open government and I've never felt so duped.
I learned my lesson though, I will never vote for a republican or democrat again. They are both assmunches.
As a consumer I pay for a certain amount of bandwidth. How do I make a choice if I only get that bandwidth when I use certain services and the rules are so complex that I can't figure out when I am not getting what I paid for because the provider sucks, or because I have the wrong one for the services I want.
It is also interesting that given the amount already spent they still have 60% of the system to build. They don[t have any way to distribute the funds yet , they made the front end without building the parts that would actually pay for the services.
Yea, already vetted or already made the right contributions to the right people/organizations.
I have had friends try to do business in Washington and after the lobist gets them access they are told were to contribute if they want the contract:-(
I think sometimes it's hard when you peak so young, you don't know what to do next because whatever it is will probably not be as successful.

If the polls don't close until 8, they often publish preliminary results before the polls close.
Or have an RSI......
When I signed up I did not have to do that. It was an optional convenience feature and I said nope.
Tabs, change your damned tab stop if you want to ;-)

Yea, but the vi folks have the mad left hand reach for the ESC key thing going on.
I'm ashamed that vi vs. emacs never ended in a knife fight. The youngens are showing us up!!

Awesome, I have not heard one since about 1991.....
The sound of a line printer spewing out paper a line at a time. LPD "on fire"

Had the same problem until I started signing my email with DKIM. Suddenly google and friends were accepting it without problems.
I am not on comcast, so it may not help you.

One of which was a case where credit card information ended up being in the proxy logs of the company that was doing this :-(
Because of the continental climate many of the north central US cities are colder than those in Alaska.
Were I live in MN for example the average low for January is 3F(-16C), in Embaras MN it is -8F(-22C), the average for Anchorage AK is 8F(-13C).
-29.4444C
Damn, not MM, but MN as in Minnesota. Apparently my brain doesn't work when it's below 0. We woke up to -21F this morning :-(
In MM when someone says "below zero" it means below 0F. Not sure what it commonly means in the rest of the US though.
Nice, I didn't think of that!! But, I still love the thought that went into it.
At least they built a challenge response system into their hack, that's just f*'ing funny to me!!
