Have you checked the court date? The trial is scheduled for 2014. With the rate phones go, the Galaxy Nexus won't be nearly as competitive of a phone at that point. $95 Million seems like such a small cost for Apple to completely ban the flagship phone of Google until at least 2014.
My wife and I just bought two a few days ago, glad we grabbed them before Apple vomited on the open market.
And so they want to make it illegal for everyone. I don't think I like that either. The basic mentality there is "if too many people can'd do xxx safely, we're going to make it illegal for anyone to do xxx". That looks ok until you're one of the (minority/few/whatever) that can (or I suppose, think you can) do it safely, and lose the right. There'll always be the argument that a lot of people think they can handle it but can't.
I don't think I like the idea of my family being needlessly ploughed down, regardless of that persons rights (they always say driving is a privilege):\. It seems the majority of the reckless drivers on the road are talking on the phone, and lately I see people texting while merging. Maybe we can trade out the TSA for some cell phone bans... would certainly save more lives.
So now the question is, why are you so concerned about hiding from google for petes sake all your loons. I would imagine 98% of the population has nothing to hide, is all of the 2% who does here at/.?
When phones surpass desktops (hah) then we'll worry about the world moving away from desktops. I find myself continually annoyed at how mediocre everything is on mobile phones. The videos are crap, the games are crap, and in general the phones are slow because they're so overloaded with stuff. I really wish I could get a phone that just did phone calls. It would be simple, it would be fast, it would be cheap.
Aids is like spam. If people stopped clicking spam it wouldn't be there. Unfortunately for those of us who aren't stupid, we get hit with that too. The solution? A better spam filter? No, let all the idiots put themselves into debt with nigerian phishers.
nobody wants the crap that comes from second hand smoke, if they want to screw themselves over thats fine, but at the moment its not totally just them.
that brings up a very morbid point indeed. whats next, preventing them from reproducing? %/ I suppose that given the circumstances that would be good... but then how far could that go in the future *cough* hitler *cough*.
Um, and whats to prevent somebody from tweaking the BIOS to only say its booting from the flash drive first? Its not that hard to trick around with somebody when they didn't put the thing thats tricking them together and its all microscopic:P.
I don't think happiness is a spot you can hit... if you are happy and stop trying to better yourself you will become unhappy, happiness is being content While bettering oneself.... Maybe thats why people have such a hard time with the concept.
Um, Wow, lets not try to control every aspect of someones life for pete's sake. Forcing children to use biometrics for their laptops would be about as profound as those dumb sites that have built in music that cannot be turned off, or that turns on over and over for each page...

Steam guarantees no piracy if bought through that medium, including something like this is asking to get boycotted (again?).
Tor is intended to be a tool for freedom around the world... blasting this crap through it needlessly is a substantial abuse.
I'm sure global freedom hinges on you streaming your torrents directly to your TV...

I don't think a clipboard blocking a bullet is going to stop somebody from continuing to shoot...
Don't forget the rootkit =D

Interesting, I will definitely look into that. Much thanks :).

PC? Apple easily has more iPod customers on the PC than Macs. I think they've got both worlds covered just fine ;)
And have their servers in the same room...
What do you think cell phones for the deaf do? Friend of mine has a phone that does only text messaging :P
I have a wireless N router, and it ALSO does g and b, so don't have a cow :P
Not all churches tithing goes to pay its clergy. Some actually use it for good uses and the clergy volunteers his time for nothing.
Then they should not be on an English speaking server. Case closed.

Perhaps it never occured to them that we don'ts want new music precious...
Or the fact that only an idiot would waste time fishing in the smaller pond, don't worry, there are a select few.

mh... not comforting in the least :)... I think? *sigh*

Well, just remember, power to the people... and a stupid lot we are.
