Its called AutoCAD, photoshop, or just about anything that you can use a frame of reference for. If you gave me a picture of a building, and gave me the dimensions of one of those bricks, I'm pretty sure I could accurately estimate the dimensions of the rest of the building. Once you draw the line on cad you scale the drawing up or down to match the line you drew with known dimensions. Its really not that complicated of a process. I really need to start designing software for contractors because apparently they'll buy anything to shave a few seconds off. Next up, a program that counts bricks!
From going to school up at Northern Arizona for two years I have noticed that almost everything that this man mentioned is included up in Flagstaff, Arizona. I know this sounds like an odd conclusion to make on his arguments but honestly with the university comprising most of the town and there being tons of potential investors with vacation homes in the area I think there is potential in the oridance restricted dark sky city. Now all we need is half a billion dollars to finance our university a bit to expand...
Now I was reading an article awhile back which discussed the new revolution of growing carbon nanotubes on the surfaces of capacitors which ultimately increases the electric potential exponentially. While this technology is about 5-6 years out most likely, batteries utilizing this technology could completely revamp the entire electric car industry. I've seen mentioned about the ability to go 300 miles+ on a single charge, well I suppose here is one of the solutions to that problem.
Video games have been my homework for years, sure they had all that other stuff but it doesn't teach the essential skills in life. Where else can you learn:
1.) To reach high ledges you must simply jump twice, once on the ground and another time once you're in the air.
2.) Money can be accumulated not only through real world earnings and jobs, but also by defeating the many monsters who ravage the forests and tall grass of our world.
3.) If you are lacking in strength, speed, or endurance, there is always a shirt, pair of pants, and/or pair of boots that can remedy this situation.
4.) The ninja profession has become one of the most competative job markets available out there, only the strong, quick, and intelligent will survive (see above if your lacking in some of these necessary skills).
So now, we have placed books in the realm of music and movies. People will find ways to illegally distribute these books, and others will find ways to gain access to them. No amount of security has stopped people from gaining access to things they want. It took someone under a day to crack windows new security feature with illegal copies.
Also for all of us that like our textbooks in paper format, that just means you get a small group of about 10 people from your major, buy one copy of all the books you need between you, buy a high quality laser printer, paper, toner, and a couple of thick binders, and you've got a textbook right there for future reference. Buying all those supplies for one textbook might still cost you the 66% each, but with multiple textbooks, the value outweighs the cost.

Luckily they reminded me or I would have forgotten to download crappy UK music from allofmp3!

I guess I've just never looked at this table very much, its sort of a...periodic table.
