  1. Smarter people on HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray - Is It All in the Name? · · Score: 0

I think people have become more technology savy since the days of betamax or VHS. Thats one of the reasons why I think MP3 caught on so well.

  2. Working with people you hate. on Behavioral Interviews for New Hires? · · Score: 0

If you had to spend 40 or more hours a week working with someone that you didnt like b/c of their personality you would go crazy.
If given the choice of a nice person to work with that was less qualified than another person that was a jerk/weirdo, I would pick the nice person b/c i would have to see them and interact with them everyday. I think personality if very important in hiring people.

  3. Re:sounds good in theory... on Unlimited Legal Music Downloads for $3.95 a Month? · · Score: 0

The www.smokintracks.com website allows unsigned bands to put their music on the web site for millions of people to buy. I believe they get about 70 cents for every song sold. So I guess its all about who you choose to market your music. If you sign a contract saying you will give 90% of what you sell to the record company then you deserve to get screwed.

  4. The perfect solution... on Why Haven't Online Newspapers Gotten it Right? · · Score: 0

If reading on the toilet is your thing. Then this might work for you. A while back I was reading about how someone in Korea (I think) made it so you could print on the toilet paper. The seat would know who was on it by their weight and then print out RSS feeds accordingly. This easily accomidates the people that would like to read the physical paper but also like to get the most recent news possible. If reading on toilet paper just isnt the same, then just have a printer near or in your bathroom. This brings me to another solution. You want to have the feel, smell, and ink on your fingers. If there were reprintable news paper. Something that you could print on over and over again. You could print out the news paper when ever you want. I dont think this is too far off b/c of the advances with reusable paper.

  5. What about PS3? on Sony DRM Installed Even When EULA Declined · · Score: 0, Offtopic

How will this pending lawsuit affect the Playstation 3? They are already taking a large risk by putting out a very expensive gamming console. If this has already affected TV sales it will be interesting to see how it will affect the launch of their new console
