    If we video tape everything police do, it removes doubt. Too many bad police have not been truthful and it has seriously corroded public trust. It will also provide them with good evidence in day to day operations.

    To cut down on the "he said she said" and reduce the ability of police to lie. Pictures or it didn't happen. Or at least their testimony is more open to reasonable doubt.

    They will decide it for me regardless if I depend upon them or not.

    There is no government of the people, for the people, by the people anymore (if there ever was.)

    Hopefully we can still talk freely (unless it violates parole).

    I can't tell you who to vote for, that's your decision. I'll just say vote or STFU. The party supporting election integrity isn't a bad place to start if you want to push towards empowering those of us that still believe the Government works for us.

    I said it doesn't cost TAXPAYERS anything. In other words, we aren't forced to fund it. The people who do pay, do so voluntarily.

    The beauty of Commercial Space is, it doesn't cost taxpayers anything. As a matter of fact, it does the opposite of cost, it generates jobs and tax revenue. The pragmatist in me thinks commercial space corporations need to hurry up and get big enough to graft along with big boys so they can get a place at the troughs of power, and we can get space exploration moving again.

    Say what you want about the East India Trading Company, it really tied the planet together...

    Why would anyone be "baffled" by what is going on? It is not like it would be unprecedented for the chief of a government agency to outright lie about something like this. On the other hand it would not be unprecedented for the "leaker" to turn out to be lying either.

    I will certainly crow about the fact that Linux has serious traction in one of the most vibrant markets in the world today, mobile devices. What is wrong with people making money off apps running on a standardized OS?

    Cool apps are cool; getting paid to make them is even cooler.

    Well I'm not sure if you have kids, but mine watch way more youtube, Netflix and online games (I know, technically they don't watch the games...) than they watch TV or radio. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is and will continue to be more and more user generated online content as people become more savvy. This process will continue to expand the market, and the idea of asking our pathetic political class to 'fix' the problem with more regulation scares the crap out of me. I believe they need to keep their stinking hands off the Internet. YMMV.
