In Soviet Norway, DVD reverse engineers YOU!
What? Oh crap...yeah yeah...okay they're not soviets. Sorry. The joke is over now. I need to get back to work...
(should really learn more geography...)
From eff.org :
"The current battles surrounding peer-to-peer file sharing are a losing proposition for everyone. The record labels continue to face lackluster sales, while the tens of millions of American file sharers--American music fans--are made to feel like criminals."
Lackluster sales? Yeah I don't think so. "American music fans"... Whoever wrote that needs to quit trying to blow everyone at the same time.
Okay it's unverified, but that's a good distance if it is indeed true.:) But it begs the question - "How are we going to secure a wireless area that large if there's issues with smaller coverages?" What is the benefit of an area that large if they select who has access to the network? Any ideas on how they'd regulate people just hopping on the signal?
Oh I'm sure that the MPAA would list P2P networks as the biggest cause. Because it most certainly can't be the fault of Dukes of Hazzard, Deuce Bigelow, etc etc....
If they really want to know the cause, it IS related to their overpricing. Their overpricing extends from them ripping off artists and giving it to the suits in the companies. Then the artists want their fair share and so the labels jack the price up ("one for artists and TWO more for us...").
On a side note...where the hell do they come up with these statistics?
"hey...i burned x amount of cd's...aaaand i downloaded this list of songs this month. i hope this helps your lawsuits out. ttyl!"
Yeah I've been running a Cel 300A OC'd to 450mhz since 2/1999. It pretty much runs 24/7 and I used to use it as my primary gaming machine so it saw a LOT of intensive use. Still runs solid to this day.:) Best price vs. performance cpu I EVER bought.
Can someone change the name "podcasting" into something a little less apple-ish? I deally this would be a neat idea for open source. I'd hate to see a potentially cool idea bogged down by the iron fist of control that is Apple...

Just use both...Then you'll be certain to have a nice unbiased search result. ;)

10 Points for the big word...but I'm afraid the judges are taking 9.5 points (rounded up) for the typoes...
We will all follow your lead.
"IBM and SUN then asked HP to price printer supplies at a reasonable cost which drew and even bigger round of applause..."
I hope Cthulhu gets into the mix. Because really as long as someone is gonna win a patent battle I want a *real* evil and not some half-assed evil. :)
Mod me down more apple fan boys... :)
8. Sell book and movie rights. (If it was a little girl who was bullied, be sure to include Lifetime in the sale)

Mom! I told you not to follow me here! GOSH!
I am going to blame beer for making me share sex with girls that I may not have otherwise had sex with. Please governments of the world...save me!
