Always wondered if other people had that happen to them in dreams, too -- the all fours things.
I find it kind of exhilarating, though. I run a lot faster than I can in real life, and the power in my muscles is reminiscent of what you feel under you when riding a horse.
By far I'd pick the physical hell alone. Alzheimer patients get the joy of experiencing BOTH. They "wake up" for periods of time, and that waking up becomes a nightmare -- why am I old? Why can't I walk? Why do I hurt so horribly? Why am I alone? Why won't they let me go home?
I kept my place at about there in summer and at 62 in the winter, which I believe matches your range perfectly. But I'll admit, I'm far less tolerant to changes in humidity in the summer, so sometimes I did have to crank the AC if we were having a 90 degree/90% humidity day. And then went and sat in the dark in the basement. Days like that there's just no getting comfortable.
I was actually on a Jury that decided damages for a civil trial -- we didn't decide to begin with who deserved them, we just got to decide how much the already-decided wronged person actually got.
My cats must be smarter than your cats -- they're quite capable of emptying a whole roll no matter which way it's spooled. Then they open the cupboard and take all the stored rolls out and do them in as well.
If I had to guess, you'd probably be looking at something much like a retainer or the mouth-guards people use to keep from grinding their teeth -- probably quite difficult to swallow:)
Slashdot pulls code from another site (fsdn.com, I think). Amazon, Facebook, a number of other biggies do the same sort of thing, owning multiple domains and storing different things in each. They should all be listed in the little medallion and be a choice to allow.
I'll admit, it can be a royal pain to figure out just what you need and what you don't at some places. I kinda figure that if I'm thrown a list of 20 sites and can't tell right off which ones I want, I probably shouldn't be trusting the main site I'm at anyway -- but to each his own, certainly!
RequestPolicy is incredible. I still run NoScript and ABP on top of it (one mostly so I can test my own code w/ and w/o scripting and the other so that I can block peoples' annoying self-hosted avatars on some forums that I visit), but I'm finding myself doing very, very little allow/deny type things anymore now that I found RP.
Amen to this. It's amazing how long family members will stand in the hall and scream at you until they realize you can't hear them and go for the light switch to get your attention when you're wearing them. All this with the volume on the lowest notch.
Of course it's a great way to get your drums blown out the other side of your head if the volume knob is anywhere that anyone else can get a hold of it.
If you're really into music you might look into earbuds with custom molds for your ears. Basically you go get hearing-aid molds done for yourself. They fit perfectly, unlike the hard buds (apple buds won't even stay in my ears), or the little rubber or foam thingies.
I'd argue that it's more likely a concession to human nature... far, far easier to talk to someone who's like you rather than the Big Guy. Also far easier to believe that the secretary of people with disease X is going to be more likely to listen to you than the president and CEO of the hospital. On that thought, though, it'd be interesting to find out if the existence/importance of the saints were more of a popular movement or a top-down sort of thing -- I can't claim to know enough about it to even guess.
But I don't want to sound too much like I'm arguing for the Church's POV, I just find this stuff fun to think about sometimes.
Curious to know what explanation you were given for praying to the saints. 12 years in Catholic school and I came out with the concept that praying to the saints is like asking your boss to present your idea to the Big Boss -- you're more likely to get a positive result than if you presented it yourself, since presumably your boss is already in good with the Big Boss.
(General note: don't assume anything about my own beliefs one way or another from this message. I've just always been interested in perceptions and misperceptions and like to know what others have heard.)
Handiness doesn't make a whole lot of difference with a bow or gun. My brother's left-eyed but right-handed and shoots better left-handed than right-handed because of it. Like way better.

But maybe I'm just weird.
I'm having this mental image of the machine then reaching out and hitting you with a rolled up newspaper.
Oh? That's why I can shake my Canon cart when it claims to be empty and put it back in and get a dozen or so more pages out of it.
Or maybe it's just because I use the ones with the see-through carts so they can't get away with it on those, I dunno.
I've seen both.

If you somehow get lost in the MRI, I think you have problems that nothing is going to solve...
I think it's time I quit for the day when I read your first sentence as:
"To prevent injury from rotary table saws, a company called SawStop makes a finger-DETACHING rotary saw."
Be a pretty sad saw if it couldn't detach fingers, yup.
The other guy gave them access, most likely by letting them import his address book.
Basically, if you know any warm bodies and give them your contact information, Facebook owns you.
Depends on which direction you're heading and how close the ground is...
Cripes... 24, that's, what, 75? That's, like, perfectly beautiful. People think that's high?

Because money grows on trees. Duh.
Doesn't it?

You mean you're going to leave out:
Newark - "Nerk"
I've just come to the conclusion that Ohioans are lazy.
Actually "Romani domum ite" since the verb should be at the end.
Ah... 4.5 years of Latin...

Find someone to check you for GERD, hon. You sound very much like what I put up with for years.

Why the hell do botnets have better security than stuff that really needs it? O.o

I call your shelf, stack, and bags and raise to a shelf, stack, and two bushel baskets.
And a basement full of assorted squash.
