I love spark-fun. I bought cheap GPS modules from them. They have a nack for bulk-buying cool stuff that inventors need. They also respond to criticism and suggestions. Heck, I should work for them, don't you think?
I guess what I meant was
strings file | egrep -replace crypt($1)
Hell, I don't know. Some way to encrypt the strings... (deceptive innovation needed...)
plus 2 year plan at $100 / month, is > $1000/yr like I said. I was including all costs...
Q: Do you know any plans that boil down to $30/month which I currently have. Like I said, its cool, but for me, an unjustified expense....
CHAO!
When I see any of these, I say to myself $1000/yr. Thats what these things cost, a vacation to Mexico!
I entered the ADC2, and if you took a poll, you would find that 1/2 of the entrants don't actually own an Android (including me), because its financially unjustified.
IMHO, Three things are needed, one of which has almost occurred.
1. A superbabe (not Whoopi sorry) needs to hold an Android on T-Mobile site.
2. Skype or such needs to work as well as T-Mobile voice, better would be nice.
3. The phone must cost US$99.
My point is, Why would wikipedia not sensor a little? Is that the sum knowledge of human existance (wikipedia slogan) or just them being too chicken to stand for decency.
I have said before, wikipedia-nc17.org should be created for that stuff. Until then, I warn schools, libraries, etc that wikipedia isn't what they think it is.
I am a chicken, so it took a while for me to do it. Yes, I have the 54 series.
Heres my experience. I use DSL and share it with my neighbor. Then to be cheap I got Vonage. Then I wanted to give audio priority so I tried tomato on both identical buffalo routers. Talking to others, they said dd-wrt gives more prioritizing options so I put dd-wrt on both of them in a sharing mode (I cant remember the exact name).
I enjoyed messing with options in dd-wrt and looking at the graphs, but never got the audio/vonage improved, so I ditched vonage. If you are considering Vonage I have a quote, "Men like VoIP, but Women don't" It cost me $150 to get out from under Vondage, but back to the phone company for me... (or cell).
I have had no problems with dd-wrt, I even upgraded it easily. Just don't turn off the power during the first install and there is no future chance of bricking it. I would do it again in a heartbeat and if I were buying a router again, I would get the same identical model...
Just publish some tests measuring actual audio delay over GSM(TCH) compared to VoIP(3G data).
Anything about 30ms is ScheiÃYe. My guess is it will be 100ms++ and sound lousy.
So then the carriers will take heat for having high latency on data networks...
Good U-turn I say. Competition is good for consumers. I have an Android exclusive app, and you bet your sweet bippie this will make me port it to Palm ASAP.
IMHO, the three underdogs better bully up quick (openhandsetalliance) before iPhone moves out and leaves a trail of lithium... For starters, Android needs to get rid of the 48hr free trial thing.
As my old friend Bob Goodman used to say (God bless Bob), where money goes, hearts and minds follow...
If you want better apps, daddys gotta get paid....
Why is Google launching Micello on the iPhone?
I am an Android game developer and its getting tough to justify my effort.
Not only are we the stepchild on Micello, but they let users try apps for 48 hours for free.
The only glory I see is entering the Android Challenge (ADC), big whoop.
Does anyone have any insight as to whats in it for us disciples?

I warned my previous company about "possible use of strings" for just such purpose. You might as well deprecate that puppy!
whats the name of your plan? I could swing that!
you made my day!
hey tolerance.
Put up the link.
1. Can you provide a link? I would buy that!
2. Where are there $180 Androids? ebay > $280...

I meant including the monthly fees. Everyone I speak with pays >$100 month in service fees....

Back-Seat-Driver
how big is it? Cubic feet.
Once TI backs down, others will smolder. Then I can finally modify my Tektronix 465 scope to become a mind probe. Once its calibrated of course.
