If they are going to have a wreck texting then they probably had a prior wreck and their insurance should have forced them to a bicycle... Pre-emptive I say. ok, what I really really mean is that some people know its probably ok to text message at stoplights. Others know perhaps you can text message in an emergency. Others know you can drink one beer on a dirt road when no bicycles are around. My point is careless people will get modded down by insurance. I am smarter and older than a teen and wiser. No wrecks in years... You can regulate or put all people into one basket. The special cases are endless... Ok I feel better. Bye.

I imagine all platforms have the same grumbles, successes.
I sat around for a month waiting to become a Palm developer. Then when I saw it was eclipse-based, I was bummed. I though Palm would be simpler.
So I tried android, and it too was eclipse, but since I was now a little wiser, I dug in and completed an app speedlimit app
Had I started the other way around, I may have finished a palm app.
But my point is this. Its amazing how powerful slashdot is in slanting the universe. Take OLPC for example. Thats not a cancer-curing idea, but they guy sold it. He didn't let Intel do it, he did it.
