The Russians and Germans have done lots of awesome stuff. I am saying that the US is without a doubt one of the greatest nations to have ever existed.

The vast majority of things that have radically changed the face of the world today came from the US. I'm not listing stuff to say we are better then you, I'm doing it to make the point that you are an ungrateful snot. YOU CAN'T REWRITE HISTORY BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE GEORGE BUSH.

We still spend the most money, and provide most of the sites. When the dust settles it will look like it does now, except a few hundred sites on Frances "supa dupa" internet.

I say encourage the split, it will fail miserably, and really won't effect me or my fellow citizens at all. I don't need to read the BBC. Most Americans won't even notice, and only punish people in other countries. If Bush backs down on this he will cement his place with conservatives as one of the worst presidents in US history.

I predict MS will win at the end of the day, because AOL can profit more from using MS technology and promotional content. For instance, if AOL got their software included on every copy of Vista like they did with Windows 98. They already use IE, and aol's/time warner getting integrated into Windows Media player would be huge for them. Microsoft's IPTV stuff is one more reason MS will spend whatever it takes to get time warner. For all you Google lovers, you better hope google doesn't blink here, or they will be in some trouble.

The biggest problem in society today is our government is out of control. The reason that is the case is because the public is uneducated and lacks the testicular fortitude to take a principled stance without relying solely on how they "feel" at that second. Many of our fellow citizens believe in misguided "good intentions" over principled, moral, and most importantly constitutional stances.

Our politicians pass laws with no regard for what freedoms they violate, what their constitutionally defined role in society is, and laws that promote unconstitutional behavior. Instead of all these "ground breaking laws" they pass every other month, how about we try enforcing the hundreds of thousands of laws already on the books in the country.

It all makes me sick. republican and democrats are both greedy blood sucking traitors that only care about self interest. Our fore fathers would most certainly be rolling over in their graves.

But I think what scares me most is America is the freest nation in the world. Like the policies or not, we offer and defend more freedoms then anyone else. So where were can we go?
