With kvm+gpu passthrough it's now native performance. It's still not completely trivial to set up and needs extra hardware(if you want to run X/Wayland in addition to Windows), but it's doable. Not something I'd recommend, but it's still more pleasant than actually dual booting. Linux for productivity, Windows for games.

The Android community is an absolute disorienting cesspool of random stuff flying around. Links to patches and roms are distributed in a seemingly random manner on a host of different more or less dubious file sharing services, making it fairly difficult to find something actually usable for your phone. Do you see any way to fix this situation in the future, making it easier to patch/update your phone?
Sure, if you like poor vm performance, poor graphics performance, terrible memory handling and a piece of crap filesystem, OS X might be right up your alley.
Luckily this laptop is also built for GNU/Linux, which is a proper operating system.
