Yea, you can do this, you can crank up the difficulty to the highest setting and make the game almost impossible to beat and totally challenging. This however completly ruins the game, makes it way to hard, and unsatisfying as you try over and over and over and over to beat something.
Theres a different between a game being hard and a game being challenging and fun.
Ignoring the facts about the Xbox 360? It has been stated that the processor may not be all that it has been hyped to be. It has been stated that it will not include HD-DVD or Blueray so its transfers and size of games will be severly limited.
Also, you think the Xbox had some good games that spanned across categories? Please name them, because i can name about..6-15, i can name about 60 on the ps2 and about 20 on the gamecube.
Why would you even complain if the ps3 only has the power of a single 7800 card? The ps2 doesnt even have the power of a 6600GT.
Anyway..onto my real post. You people have to consider that the video chip on the ps3 is not running on a PCI-E or AGP slot, It doesnt have the limitations of said formats and communicates directly with the processor. You also have to consider that while the makers of PC games have to consider the wide range of different computers, the makers of a console title make there games AROUND the system. I'de say that even if the RSX processor is of equal computing power of a 7800GT, it would still turn out to be a better processor.
I dont understand why -any- console game would charge money for an online experience. Your already pushing 50-60 bucks into the fucking game. I havnt payed for online experience with a PC game since my last mmorpg, so why consoles? There servers are all the same, theres not some magical console server that costs more! Just more ways to bleed the customer out of there money.
By the way, to the person said they would take a 500 dollar console over a pc is crazy. A console can only do -one- thing well, and thats play games. Not only do you have to pay for the console, you have to buy memory cards, a hard drive, overpriced games, a network adapter, more controllers, a television, another video adapter if you want a better looking picture and so on. All this adds up, i could build you a 800 dollar computer that would put any online console game into the 'shit' category.
To the girl complaining about generalization of women..
1)Your not a normal women
2)You date other women
3)You play videogames
4)Therfore you are a very very small percent of women.
If you look at the normal housewife, who has enough money to support there family and decorate there home (Hell..my mom does this and HATES wires..and decorates waaay too much). I know several other mothers that do this as well, along with other wives that just cant take wires.
This is not a generalization of women, its a truth to most house moms and wives. Are you a wife? no, shut up.
Considering it isnt the directors or producers or 'hollywood' types that get to make script and actor (final) decisions, I believe that the movie might actually be good. Unlike Alone In The Dark (which...was butchered and wasnt even about the game). The movie will definatly be about the game, will have a storyline that goes along with the games (or even a remake), and just to mention again..when you have a company that MADE the game making the decisions, it'll be a good idea.
I had to sign up to get in on this thread.
Adding a hard drive to a console launch wouldnt be that expensive. They wouldnt need large drives, add a 2-10gig HD (very cheap) to the launch consoles then release bigger hard drives later on. This way, all games can be encoded with HD saves and content in mind, and whoever needs a bigger HD will upgrade.

Final Fantasy will NOT be 360-exclusive, however they said that they may make a single FF 360-Exclusive game.
