That's actually passed quite a bit around. The quote is such that "American Viewers aren't ready for a positive Death figure." or something of that nature.
If you are looking for a great way to continue the discworld experience (heh), they have finished two complete TV adaptations - those of Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters - I watched them, and they are really high quality and stick with the plot for the most part.
I balk at a three page paper in 8 point font myself - after sitting all day behind a computer writing that thing, I'm not going to be able to see the text to re-read it, much less edit it.
I assume you mean for FPSs only, right?
Personally, I don't see why many FPS even have cutscenes. I play UT2k4 extensively, and while there's I believe an intro cutscene, I just skip it to blow stuff up.
I was never a fan of many FPS, but overall, games with a story should tell the story - whichever way works.
I am perfectly fine using a 17 inch, but I despise auto-hide, and like having lots of helper panels - google desktop for email, weather, and iTunes, then the taskbar and gAIM. I'm thinking of getting a second monitor to shift all that junk to, just so I can concentrate on my work.
I personally enjoyed Shadow the Hedgehog. It wasn't a Sonic game by any stretch, and it contained too much shooting to ever be considered one, but it was closer to what I want in a Sonic game. I want a solid Sonic game, with just Sonic as a playable character, or maybe bringing back Tails as a Co-op, or Shadow as a rival - no weapons, no vehicles, and no "find the emeralds."

They finished TV shows based on Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music already - I doubt, even if they were making a movie, they would use that.
It would be VERY intersting to see Moving Pictures as a full-length movie, or as another TV series.

It counts, but in the opposite direction.

Hmm... This offers interesting possibilities to college campuses everywhere.
But of course, to get the money, you have to register with your local authorities first.
Easy - just ignore all senders that do not follow the agreement, except those you whitelist.
Isn't that a step backward?
I wonder how long it will take for the codec to be implemented in VLC...

Now if only we could block all stories, as well...
So I'm sure that that revenue will be seen as cutting money from CD sales, and a great representation of piracy by the RIAA, won't it.
Could you imagine the resolution you'd need to make that work?
In the article: "Meanwhile, the 42" SEDs we saw will be axed in favor of a base size that begins at 55", Toshiba promises."
Is this some new meme I missed out on?
55'' minimum - This is a plasma tv replacement, not a replacement for the LCD sitting on your desk.
How does open source help if they can't buy a computer?
It's not teaching a man how to fish. It's giving him fish as opposed to teaching him to write code - which one is better, in your opinion?
Is it considered bad if I recognize and have read about half of those books?
What he meant was that he downloads stuff for free, so not a penny goes to comcast.

Sorry, my school uses a packetshaper - no torrents get through, and tunneling limits the speed so much that it doesn't help.
Yes, it takes a whole 30 gigs on my computer.

"11. One in 10 Europeans is allegedly conceived in an Ikea bed." I wonder if Ikea can take claims to those children as prior art?
