True - however it's also the Apple fan girls that don't give a fuck. This kind of crap has been going on for years, yet morons still queue up a week before the latest release of a blood soaked Apple product.

Yes I am fully aware that there will be plenty of other chinese produced products that will have the same layer of entrails and ruined lives on them, and ones that I probably use - but it's the Foxconn/Apple products that we hear about time and time again.

So you don't provide any guidance in the education of your children? You let the schools do it all yourself? You can't logically educate your child regarding your own beliefs and let them decide which way they want to go?

I am a creationist, I studied Biology at University and I am still a creationist. My kids will be taught evolution, and I have taught them my beliefs. I won't force either point of view on them - at some point they will make up their own mind. But at least they will be educated regarding both point of views. I don't think, or claim, that Evolutionists are "idiots" - I don't need to resort to name calling to try and discount the other point of view.

Having a child taught something at school is not "through the backdoor" - you're aware of it, you are ultimately responsible for your child - so don't blame their school for your inability to argue your point of view.

But I've got to say this whole episode makes me think that now I wish it had gone the other way. Someone does something that DOESNT allow piracy, that allows people to have a better chance of using THEIR hardware the way they choose to, and Sony bend him over backwards and rapes him. Sony just doesn't realise that the whole "Warranty is void if jail broken" is incentive enough for most people to not tinker with such things. And for the die hard tinkerers that want to play with this stuff it's a case of a few more people using Sony's product in ways they haven't before. Big deal. But this crap is just making even the staunch Sony fans rethink their allegance...

What gets me is "Symantec Corporation" is on that list. A few people I know that have been silly enough to use Norton's have had problems (dumb problems) with their licenses if they had purchased > 1 years of license. And fixing the problem has always been a pain in the arse. How can a company that takes two years of license fees then demands money off you after 1 year be considered "ethical".
