    A question that pops up is "Did the printing stop working because of printer driver issues, or was it a problem caused by another breakage (a network printer not working due to wifi stoping to work is not really a printing problem). the issue of wifi suddenly breaking is rather more serious as. in quite a few cases, this stops the user from getting subsequent updates.

    Ok I might attack this as a geek, 99% of users probably would not care why the printer broke, but I suspect that if it was because of wifi, the first complaint anyone would hear is "wtf the internet does not work" or in extreme cases "why did Faceboook/youtube stop working?"

    But in principle I agree with you an update should not break working things. The one exception might be hw EOLed the manufacturer, you can't expect them to release drivers for new kernel versions in that case.

I mighthave missed something (in that case sorry, bur here is my sygestion If the usernam exsists and th password is correct log the user in, if the usernsme exsists but the password does not match the one stored , return invalid password for $user, if the user account is not in the db return user not found. Clear info to the user, ok a possible chanse of devulging a log in name but the risks posed by that can bi mitigared by setting a 1 minute timeot for loginatemptrs to an account after 5 faild atempts, this shuld be enugh to kill brute fourcevatacs but small enugh not to annoy users

  6. Well taste may differ, personally i find A well structured menu system on top, and customisable single level toolbars right below that (you know the ui that had been standard all the way from windows 3.x untill ms perpetrated the crime agains humanity that was ribbon)

    I agree, what was wrong with versjon numbers, withe them it was at leas easy to see if you deeded to update to be compatible or not, now you have to remember names instead, it (at least for osx) has become a game of which cat/moinain/national park jkame in what order, what a mess

  14. Well you are partly coreect, ot is a theory, which means it makes predictions, those predictions can be tested, and so far those predictions have been proved right every tine. So I would have to dissagree with the second part of your statement. But if you cane produce a repetable experement that dissproves it thrtr is a rather famous comitie in Sweden that would like to hear from you.

    The tvOS app has an issue wit playing surround sound, It onlu comes out as sterio, amazon are avare of it and according to costumer service are working on it. As a temorary fix they have removed the 5.1 tag om all media in the app I contacted them to call theier bluff here is what i got back "Please be assured, the tags are being removed temporarily. The issue will be fixed as soon as possible"

    A gig from you to where, the pop/co/ whatever you at connected to,, your isps peering point to the next as on the way to the destination/dource of the data stream or all the way to the cdn/host you requested, and how would the usage of the other networks be compansated? The tow isps on the end gets payed and that is fine, but whst abour as1-n in the middle?

    Let me guess, you it thye white/light meat, in that case I agree it tends to be dry, The darkere meat on the other hand is imho full of flavor.
    Disclamer: I live in europe so this may or may not aplay to USW torkys which I can't comment on as I've mever tasted them.Why do I bothet to comment on an article that deaks with US torkys then? Well in my experience people complainingf about torky not having flavor tend to go for the whiite meat (not done any reserch on the topic tho so this might just be a coincidence). I wonder if the same size increase has happened here in europe

    Well I would dissagree with you there, having my blu-ray player hooked up to mu 7.1 sutrround I higlie apriciate the addition of High def audio (Dolby ma, Atmos etc)

    And mobile friendly pages that don’t allow you to zoom on your relativly smsll mobile device screen, I hate those as I can’t understand why they need to be un zomsble, but then again Ikm not a web dev/designer maybe allowing me to zoom creates proplems for them.
