Well I dissagree, per default http2 reqires https* and with http2 you get better perfotmance without durty hacks like inlining, load times are actually reduced, ok you pay for it with a bit more CPU usage, and you are right certifivates are neede but how hard it is to ad a cron job to run certbot every n days? * in their default configs both servers and clients require tls to run http2
