It was simple to find so many reviews to back
up my comments, that being the Sony's CRT is
the best out there.

Yes they are more expensive than any other type, but you truly get what you pay for.
It is like buying fine furniture made of real
solid wood or the stapled together crap that you get at the brick.
The CRT industry is being phased out just like
fine furniture did a long time ago. People bought crap because it was cheap and served their immediate purpose. Fine furniture is
a rarety, but it is better. So too is the
CRT. It is being pushed aside by inferior products that are cheaper and of less quality
because most consumer demand it. This is why
Sony is turning down the product lines.
Unlike fine furniture, technology will make the competing products better Just not yet.
Until that time, I'll stick to my Sony 34" HDTV CRT thank you.
I bought a 17 sony trinitron over 15 years
ago for $1700. It is still going strong.
When I went looking for an HDTV replacement
nothing is better than a CRT. The Sony
line is quoted as being the standard for which
all others are measured, even LCD.
Sony stopped making the 40" model. I guess
that was a sign.
Considering the quality of Sony's products,
known by there reputation; I'd say that
Sony is suffering losses because of their
high quality.
I don't understand the RIAA. I can go to
any music store, find a CD I may like and
ask the clerk if I can listen to it there.
If I like it I buy it, if I don't, I will
not.
Now I download some music at home. If I like
it I can go to the store and buy it (If I'm
honest). If not I delete the file.
Tell me why I'm going to be sued for something
that the music stores are already doing?
If someone in the movie buisiness is wise, they
will gather some usefull information from these
posts.
I usually use IMDB to screen out bad movies. I don't know if others do.
The theatres in Canada (Ontario) are usually better. I guess you can attribute that to our
personality. I have on very odd occasions had
to shush a younger viewer, but rarely.
I still choose wisely as the cost is still up
there. $10Cdn + $5 popcorn + $2 pop, all per
person. For these prices, only the must see
movies are worth it. Star Wars III and War of
the Worlds are great examples of a must see in
the theatre.
So for those U.S. folks, when your here, come see
a movie, its cheaper and quieter.
I'm a college grad with a high tech
career. Imagine my dismay when my child
when asked what he wanted to be when
he grew up said, "a garbage man".
I felt very disappointed to say the least.
When I asked, "Why?", he replied,
"Because garbage men only work one day
a week."
Least to say, I only work the overtime I have to anymore.
But with linux you could write your
own tools for your dental office.
It would not be any harder to do than
pulling teeth right?
