'Progressives' always oppose progress if they think it benefits the capitalists more than the workers. Even when the workers still come out vastly ahead, just not as much ahead.
And to head off the incoming replies, the median income in the US adjusted for inflation is seven times what it was a century ago, and several orders of magnitude above pre-industrial revolution levels (or for that matter, Brazil's current median income). So yes, industrialisation made everyone better off, even though all those farm laborers lost their jobs.
Gathering = Mining, herb gathering, skinning
Gathering supplies.
As for your silly statement that min/maxing is the only fun part, that's your opinion. I play rpgs to play characters in a role. To live in that character. WoW fails at that miserably. Even on roleplaying servers.
Actually the physical strength differences between men and women that are not the result of different lifestyles (men doing more manual labor thus using and developing muscle strength more) are fairly small. Differing skeletal structures is one real difference. Grip strength (according to my physical anthropology professor anywa) is another.
That being said, there is a rather large margin between male and female weightlifting olympic records (when comparing same weight classes) as high as 30%.
Correction: Its an advantage to min/maxing low level players aware that they can finance themselves with 2 gathering professions. It is a major disadvantage to any wanting to play a roleplaying game where their character fills a role. OTOH WoW isn't really an RPG any more.
Sorry to burst your naive bubble, Perot got 19% of the nationwide vote in 1992. The only result? The league of women voters is no longer permitted by the Democratic and Repubican parties to host presidential debates.
You have this totally wrong.
Light water reactors require the enriched uranium that goes in bombs.
Heavy water reactors use unenriched uranium that is useless for bombs.
I'm not sure of your implication. Are you implying that Hans' association with someone like Sturgeon is evidence that Hans has a similar character?
I was simply speaking to why the judge would have barred any mention of Sturgeon's claim to be a serial killer. Nothing more.
You misunderstand. I meant that yes the lawyer would prefer interesting work to jet setting. But what about the shaggable office assistant's preference? Surely paid vacations with sex are preferable to shuffling papers around the office.
Or maybe I feel that way because I'm not a shaggable office assistant. And I don't have one.
In general prior acts of witnesses are not considered permissible because what a witness did has no bearing on the guilt of the accused. If a man who saw you murder someone is a drug dealer, the fact that he is a drug dealer has nothing to do with whether or not you are guilty of murder.
In this case however, I do agree that its relevant. If she was cavorting with a confessed serial killer (albeit possibly one who is lying about it) that is relevant--not as an impeachment of the Sturgeon's testimony necessarily, but with regard to reasonable doubt.
If you legitimately billed 25 hours for time zone crossing you would lose the gain on the return trip (meaning that the extra hour is just a time accounting artifact, not a real gain in billable hours).

Then it would have to read AoC Bug Rewards Female Characters. Such as when female teachers molest male students. Niiice.

Tie-koh brah-heh
So no Toyota, Mitsubishi or Volkswagons for you ever right? Going to hold you to that.

So you're the guy writing all those 'Damn Kids Today' articles.

I knew what you meant, I was trolling. That said, some people do treat their children as little extensions of themselves--and it is disgusting.
Because they rejected the more obviously false gods, so they needed new false ones.
Of course, 200 million light years would be out of the local group of galaxies.
I sense an impending first person shooter.
That's right, enslave your children to your dreams so you can live vicariously through them.
How the hell would anyone go back to the USSR? It doesn't exist anymore.

Hasta la vista. Seriously? *sigh*
WTF can he get away from?

The people accused of financing terrorism, like the aforementioned Saudi client DO have the kind of cash that typical corporate clients do.
Hello Mr NSA troll. How is DC this time of year?
