  1. Human Lab Rat on Worst Jobs in Science: Year Three · · Score: 0

Actually, I've kinda wanted to be a Human Lab Rat in those experiments where they add to your brain matter. I've always wanted to be telepathic! On a more serious note, I've also thought that perhaps people in prison with life or death sentences should be able to opt to be a Human Lab Rat in order to reduce their sentence while furthering our medical research.

Apparently, they aren't scared about the EU or other countries wanting control of the internet. I would think they would strike an agreement awefully quick so as to prove the current arrangement wasn't so fragile. Instead, they are going to end up proving that the EU or some other arrangement will be required to fix future events like this from happening...

Why not? It's free and if your the green peace type, it doesn't use paper! The best part about it is, you don't have to wait til tomorrow to find out whether or not your ATI or NVIDA stock just hit rock bottom due to some GPU meltdown.

I'm actually surprised that it's only 40 percent when you consider the benefits...

With companies such as Sun and IBM opening up their software and such, I read magizines that try to support the idea that other companies need to do the same or be left behind. Do you think Microsoft is getting that hint or is there another reason why they would be using open formats? Surely there aren't enough open office users yet for them to be worried about that portion of the market. After all, most users of Open Office use that suite because they hate Microsoft.

How's the side to side and up and down viewing of it? My Samsung 19" is great except for the noticeable difference in how I sit in my chair. It is dark at the top if I slouch and dark at the bottom if I sit too high. :(

Someone must have flunked out of calc. Either that, or perhaps this is proof against some of the calc formulas. I've often wondered just how accurate they are and whether adjustments might need to be made to some of the mathematic formulas. Am I being a bit bold with these statements? After all, these formulas do have "proofs" that SEEM to be logical...

What are the chances of Microsoft ever doing this for their EULAS?

On a more serious note, I think I would base my decision on which company I purchase software from depending on if they included outlines or "Cliff Note" versions of their legal mumbo jumbo. I hate companies like Microsoft who try to squeeze as much control into a license agreement while trying to make sure the customer is unaware of it. Of course, in Microsoft's case, they make sure that it'll be the next millennium before you finish reading it!!!
