The wall would have to span across multiple agencies, and they would have to approve it, past land not owned by the government and through land that would require years of study on its effect on the little critters that live there.

Even these researchers don't understand the concept of time on a galactic scale. We've been around for a mere fraction of a second in terms of time scale. We haven't been around long enough for aliens to find us, or us to find them. It's why endeavors like SETI are, well, a waste of time.
Happens more often than you think. I had a friend that drove like that, he used his right foot for gas, left for brake. Didn't take him long before backing up once and instead of hitting the brake he slammed down the accelerator and smashed into a car. He got that changed real quick after that.

I don't see why anyone would want one over a Volt.
Buy a Volt. Depending on the year, goes up to around 50 miles on electric. Great car too, many have 150k+ miles with no loss in battery.
