You can play that game with pretty much any car of any class. Regardless, it's only a matter of time until electric cars cost less than ICE cars. ICE cars are getting more expensive due to more complex engines, while electric cars are steadily dropping in price as battery technology and cost materials improves.
Yes, they cost more now. Quite a bit more. If you don't want one - don't buy it.
The article optimistically adds, "Down the line, wearables also could help pharmaceutical makers prove to insurance companies that their treatments are effective, thus increasing health profits."
We shouldn't even be looking for ET. At all. Because of math. To put the age of the universe or even our galaxy in perspective, finding ET would be like winning the lottery every week for a year straight. Looking for ET is a total waste of time, no pun intended.
No kidding. I want a Samsung Note 4, even with the Note 5 released its price hasn't changed at $624 (Verizon). My fairly loaded desktop didn't even cost that much.
I don't think anyone cares much about weight. You can be 6'2 and be in great shape but weight 250. But if you are - ahem- wide and spilling into the seat next to you then there is a problem.
Somehow I bet they were asked for her 'computer emails' instead of her emails or some other screwed up interpretation of the request. Hell with her computer crashing, its irrelevant.
"...and could mark the start of the first offshore commercial drilling in the American north, although it would take another decade to establish production wells."
Thats the real problem right there. In 10 years it might not even be needed with how fast technology advances.
Yes, I can call it free. Because it's free! Just because it might not be free in the future doesn't make it not free now.

Well you can call it a transmission, but a 1 speed fixed gearbox is nothing at all even remotely close to a transmissions on gas cars.
Model 3 is is in the works, give it a little time. You can read (or watch) about why they had to do expensive cars first.
Wrong for who?
I don't need a 650 mile electric car. 250 miles is fine. How much will that be? Elon says $35k, -$7500 in tax. $27,500. Cheaper than the average car.
If you have an apartment that costs millions I'm pretty certain you have a garage you can use and charge in.
$35k - $7500 in tax credits.

Fixed.

"New Siri feature allows you to speak to your iPhone whether you're powered on or not."
Which means that the iPhone is never really "off". Which means that it's ALWAYS listening to you. Which probably means that the NSA is listening too.
No thanks.
I GUARANTEE it isn't "listening" until it hears "Hey, Siri", which it detects LOCALLY.
Can you imagine the standby power requirements to run the WiFi 24/7 JUST to hear you utter one, non-customizable, phrase?
Think before you hate.

Think before you post.
You better go tell Google/etc that are developing these systems to start putting these safeguards in place.

Spend that fine on electric car rebates, at least 10 billion of it, and get rid of our need for oil. Washington should list to Elon Musk.
Why? Elon has already said numerous times the factory is being built to accommodate change in battery technology.
If you qualify, which you will if you're even considering buying the car.
"The vehicle, called the Blade, has 1/3 the emissions of an electric car and 1/50 the factory capital costs of other manufactured cars."
His course should be mandatory to graduate high school.
Thats how I bought my car as well. Time messing with salesmen doing the 'check with manager' etc BS = 0.

Ding ding ding this man gets it!

My 7yr old knows that. How is it you don't?
Step 2. Fire missiles.
Step 3. ?
Step 4. Profit!
Oh wait, Step 1 should buy 'Buy stock in defense contractors'.
Wouldn't need much of a change to kill people. Make a reactor go critical or spin the centrifuges so fast they explode.
What would happen if a rogue state hacked North Korea and somehow made a barrage of missiles fly at South Korea?
