Yep, if I have to see adverts I'd prefer to at least be able to choose a category of advert to see.. for example MSN comes up with random movie ads, some dodgy sex chat type ad, and some ad with a large hairy male nipple on it, I mean wtf.. I don't need to see that while chatting to my friends (but I like using custom emotes on MSN X( )
Yep, I don't see what other way there is to do it rather than just reverse the process:P It's funny seeing some people say it's 'amazing', and also it's a dumbass way to try to disguise something. I don't think the summary is accurate in thinking that blurring can be undone to the same extent as to get a license plate back or whatever.. it would be possible to get a bit of detail back if there wasn't too much blurring being done, but say you applied a very heavy gaussian blur to a section of a picture, everything would basically get mashed into one colour..
Hi, mom? Yeah, can you find my birth certificate? I want to check up on my warranty. Oh, it's expired? Good. Can I borrow some of dad's powertools this weekend?
I'm pretty sure he was making a joke.. how were you modded insightful?:P If I knew the people he was talking about the I possibly would have found it funny. And rather than his first respondent being on crack, I'm guessing he actually got the joke and was responding with some highly insightful comment >.>
When students can't build up a library of important music, and the music scene is impaired, then there's something wrong with copyright. There.. fixed that for you.. I think o_0
Or even how they compared against each other. Like Pokémon (or superheroes, or breakfast cereals, whatever floats your boat..) each AI will no doubt have its own strengths and weaknesses;)
I get what you're saying.. but (by the sounds of it quite poor/unsafe) recipes for making bombs? I doubt they're nailing him purely for the possession of this, which would be quite stupid - there must be something else going on. For example, how did they even know he has it? He is either under suspicion or has been doing a lot of big talk about blowing shit up..
As long as we in the UK don't all end up gun toting lawsuit crazy maniacs.. I don't see why anyone needs this book anyway. If they charged him for having this book then they probably knew he was going to use it. *goes to RTFA*
While I think it's true that Linux boxes really are 'more' secure, that very fact makes a lot of users (myself certainly) less security aware when using non Windows systems (Mac OS/Linux). That just means that I don't tend to worry that I'm going to get any spyware or viruses no matter what website I visit. When it comes to someone actually attacking a machine directly rather than relying on passive methods then I admit am pretty clueless, with regards to both Windows and Linux... perhaps some people here could give advice on how to be more proactive in defending against such threats (intrusion detection programs etc?)

I hope 50 Cent doesn't try selling music in Canada, or he's screwed.

;) I'm already on excellent Karma, I just like bashing Microsoft :p And it is true.. I preferred IE6
Indeed. Though I don't see what being conservative has to do with it, I just think that people are asses.
In Soviet Russia, troll think faster than you! At least in winter.

Nah, we may have E=MC, but he wouldn't have got to the whole squared bit?
Though I didn't know that that was a different word, thanks for being informative at least, even if you are perpetuating the pedantry
So it should possibly be, "Are Bad Writing Good For A Internet" ?
Doesn't matter, you probably still don't want IE7.. yuck! :P
Oops, you weren't replying to that other post. My apologies - the summary had already been corrected by the time I read your post :P
Well, when you've got a gigantic rocket pushing up your ass..

I get what you're saying a bit.. but after reading TFA.. the guy was wearing a hoody, and in court no less! Obviously a terrorist ;)

I'm pretty sure it's real, heard about it a few years ago
The original post does come across as flamebait, maybe you could have explained it more and then people would have seen that you meant it seriously..
