I see a lot of distrust of the Tizen interface, and even though I'm not a big fan of tiles, Samsung uses EFL as UI framework and has in it's payroll Carsten Haitzler (Rasterman) and Cedric Bail, the main developers of Enlightenment, which I think, grants that the end product will be quite good.
Funny how inovation goes:
I saw a video of a similar thing a couple of monhts back .
Not as shiny as the Honda one, but still a nice achievement from a guy in his garage.
The real incentive is to be one of the best high-schoolers in the world at something you enjoy doing.
Also I went to the Olympics because it allowed me to skip some of the other boring classes to allow me to focus on programming. Too bad I never got that far.:)
If you're in it _just_ for the money, you're doing it wrong.
Sadly Uwe Boll is financing his own movies through his German production company. His money come as refunds from the German government... the only thing they require is a percentage of the profit and usually there is none.
Yeah, along with other programs. That's not really relevant though for those of us working on multiple OS's. Lack of OS X support means 90% of the time, I would not even consider using this. So you want an ugly GTK+ interface vs. Cocoa (or whatever the OSX is using) ? They are both built on the libpurple library, there is no point in allocating valuable resources for porting something ugly for OSX instead of supporting the Adium guys. On the other hand maybe Finch (the text client for libpurple) may work on OSX.:D
Why would you think that? I'd rather have one encryption system and set of keys, which I can encapsulate within any program, than one encryption system and set of keys for each protocol. Is it so hard to integrate something like Off The Record which provides encryption for a variety of IM protocols and clients? Well, if you are talking about encapsulating with any program, it means that your gripe is not with the pidgin devs.

More importantly, are the algorithms open and not encumbered by any patents ? Will there be software, except Netflix that is, that will use them ?
That's what you get when there's no competition involved. As far as I know in Belgium there's only tele2 in various shapes and sizes.

Very strange that if AdBlock is active Ff 3.0b5pre scores 68 not 69 as it does without it.
Cheers.
