Unit tests are good comments (and they are checked to be up to date with the implemenetation every compile)
Which pattern/algo is used is good comment
Implementation decisions are good comments (I.e "foo algo is better for this dataset than bar and baz algos")
For all else, literal programming is good comment, all other comments are to be regarded as disinformation unless proven otherwise.
Of course they do depend on minitel, it is all they know, and they had no urgent need to switch until now.
I depend on my apartment, it is a crappy one in a (relatively for the region) bad neighborhood but moving involves lots of work and I can not be bothered.
What kind of crap is this? This is not new, way too short floats and/or fixpoint math are core technology for anyone who programmed in the previous century.
A friend did it four times in a row (missing the fifth) after three months of working 4 evenings a week at a local bar with roulette. (My friend was the kind of guy that plays flipper until he gets bored, instead of when he is out of balls). I never played roulette again (after winning quite alot since he aimed for my number)
The idea is that with his tool you do not need to understand the problem. Play for a day or three and you got a nice working binary search, voila! Without understanding it at all. All while sipping latte and updating your status at facebook.
Seamless updates is a load of bull. When chrome starts to act up with various strangeness its time to restart it (about chrome proves its has updated itself but no reload icon showing)
CIA outsources a lot of its dirty work, primarily for deniability reasons but also since experience is hard to get in some risky fields of operation.
I.e it can have been developed with help from experienced contractors, who will bring their own tools and might also steal tools for private use.
If you have ever tried to do serious benchmarks.
Most of the Phoronix benchmarks will feel like benchmarking cars by measuring highest rpm possible (higher is better). Or measuring acceleration down to micro seconds, but some cars tested in light rain and some in snow.
I do never feel that they are doing it on purpose, only by incompetence or carelessness. (i.e there are no deceptive scales like in ads)
When you want to enjoy a beer, your stool will provide the right atmosphere. Without it does not feel right drinking at work.
Stone old guardian, drinking it now, most probably the best beer in the world.

For Linux users: http://bcache.evilpiepirate.org/
Please help mainline this, please.
Close to the metal but still not specific to any machine if you do not need to. Easy to understand exactly what machinecode the compiler will produce.
"Many farmers still depend on Minitel". My arse.

They do have. Projects like this are spin offs from UAV software. But they are not very far ahead.
Piker. I guarantee at least 299 of my shots are junk.
I'm not interested in your fetish photos.
It is great for an agile team of 3-6 persons, any more and its gets too noisy to get anything done.

The prosecutor's laptop may contain child porn, too. I vote we investigate its contents first.
Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
Sadly it's too late, there is already a bullet hole in the foot.
The RMS version is called "M-x w3"
That specialized hardware already exists in every phone, its called a SIM card.

Does it include the best episode ever? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7jbP1_H9sA
or will it have to be recreated in HD?
Like an STB, game console, yotube able tv or web browser. Load and save programs to pastebin or similar.

Maybe for you, but the applets I run do require sun/oracle java and fails with the alternatives.
I start: 640 mSv ought to be enough for anybody.
Games for Windows Live was not the problem Games for Windows was, since it broke support for non microsoft controllers on every update.
