What malware? Windows CE (the base of Windows Mobile) is out there for more than a decade, you a free to install apps from anywhere and there are only two viruses for it, both are just concept viruses made by antivirus companies to promote their products.

So get down of your high horse. As for your reasoning about why should anyone buy Palm Pre because iPhone 3 would come soon, the same argumentation goes about iPhone. Why should anyone buy one when HTC Touch Pro 2/Diamond 2 come out soon and featurewise any iPhone lags years behind Windows Mobile phones?

Still, some people buy it because they like the dumbed down interface. There are reasons to buy Palm Pre - like multitasking. Lack of multitasking was pretty much the killer reason for Windows Mobile some years ago and it is what nearly killed Palm.

Anyway, what murderer you are talking about? All I can see from your descrtiption is just a mugger.

*That position differs somewhat between EU countries. AFAIK Every EU country punishes disproportional self defence, but some countries allow more disproportional self defence than others. In Germany you can use deadly force against a burglar running away with valuable property if there is no milder way to stop him, in Sweden that would be illegal because in Swedish law no property is as valuable as human life.

if the value of that DWORD is 0 then unsigned CABs won't install. Set the value to 16, it is a safe value which gives the unsigned CABs the normal level access. If you really trust your software, set the value to 8 (Admin rights).

Additionally, you can set the DWORD 0000101a to 1 so you won't be bothered with the warning that the software you want to install is unsigned.
