Does this mean that the "legal" music downloads are going to cost close to $100 now? Killing the digital music market and ending any chance of "legal" downloads. This is all part of the music industry business plan, sell cheap, low quality songs that do not generate much profit and sue the hell out of the people who download "illegal" high quality versions to subsidize the cheap low quality sales.
Yeah way better than the pod peoples players. A 4.3inch screen to check out your photos, watch movies, read text files, listen to the radio or play music encoded in mp3, ogg, flac or wav. No crappy bloated iTunes or like software needed its just drag and drop baby. Plus it runs on Linux!!! If you like proprietry formats and being locked in go buy a Zune or iPod. Me I'll stick with my A2.
I can't agree with you more. I hate my iPod because it locked me into buying all those CDs that I then have to rip to mp3, or AAC, Apple Lossless, or.wav. Damn you Apple and your format lock in.
That's not really much of a prediction. In fact I predict that Shick is going to unveil a 6, yes SIX!, blade razor with 2, count em TWO!, precision blades on the back for even closer sideburn touchups.
You can see freedom of the press right there. It is the Fox News of the liberal agenda. I don't see anyone censoring that paper. CNN is very liberal. Dan Rather can go on air with a false story showing the president in a bad light and he didn't go to jail. How the US can be 53rd in the world is beyond me.
Wouldn't even be that much of a risk to Apple because it's specialized enough not to be a direct competitor. It would just be another option for Apple users with the need for a computer designed to work in harsher environments. Actually the toughbook could pick up a few things from Apple too like the magsafe power connector.
If the toughbook is so tough it can take a fall from the power cord being tripped over no?
In Nintendo's case, however, they do not sell their consoles at a loss. So they make a profit, however small, on each machine and get the licensing from the games. Sony makes money because the PS and PS2 are such big sellers. The Xbox tried to copy Sony's model but didn't do as well.
I think NYC is a major city and you won't find a Wal Mart here, in the suburbs sure, but not within city limits and I'm not driving to Jersey or Long Island to save a dollar on socks.
I believe Apple has said they do not pay to have their computers placed in movies or television shows. I'm sure the computers are gladly provided free of charge though.
GNUALMAFUERTE is either a troll or a person with some standing in the "revolution", if he is a troll, nothing to see here move along, if he is a party member well he surely is living a great life in Cuba and I'm surprised he even reads Slashdot from his house on the beach in Havana, eating food daily, and driving a car not made in the 1950's.

Live by the patent, die by the patent. Or maybe it was swords. Nah I'm pretty sure it was patent.

1.Make obvious prediction.
2.Wait for company to make product.
3.File suit.
4.Profit!

I'm sure Fox is the one offended for being put in the same category as CNN. Fox does have much greater ratings, I believe, than little old CNN.
If only the cake story came before the questions were picked, then maybe two of the chosen questions would have asked about it.

Johan Borg, it's a great John Houseman name.

I thought WGA didn't keep any data on the user only the machine. I guess that "anonymous" data collection isn't so anonymous after all.
Any word on if the Swiss plastic toothpick that comes with our Army Knives company had any comment on the report?

Well IT pros may very well always be extremely paranoid, but, are the extremely paranoid always IT pros?
Like those good "reviews" weren't paid for? Haven't you noticed that they all read like a press release?
So MS is going to use their monopoly to push their new music store and media player. Hmmmmm where have I heard that strategy before.
I'd rather teach them how to fish so no one in Redmond will ever go hungry.
No they are just suing everyone who uses Linux. Albeit they are trying to hide behind another company, it is their doing.

If that was to happent it's too bad the character wasn't Pod-Pod Binks and the sport Jar racing then.
I knew buying a Sega Genesis was worth it, I got full blood and gore. HA!
