    Good catch, consider me corrected. It makes me wonder why they didn't just make a different connector so they didn't have to worry if it was DisplayPort or Thunderbolt though.

    It would be nice to have just a grid of these connectors on the back of a PC though. I was poking a USB cable around the back of my PC the other day trying to find the port I thought was up by the mouse and ended up sticking it in the "EVBot Connector" resetting my PC. (Apparently, I'm not the only one: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=676801&mpage=1 )

    Slashdot is famed for having an anti-Microsoft bias, so asking here is a waste of time.

    There are an abundance of Pro-Microsoft/Anti-Everything-Else sites out on the Internet. I'm sure asking those sites will get different responses as well.

    If your neighbors don't agree with your ways, move to a neighborhood that does. Obviously, Slashdot has news that resonate with that type of crowd. Maybe that crowd knows something you are putting blinders toward.

    Kinect was outright bought from another company if I remember correctly (PimeSense?). XBox I might give you but it's just a console running Microsoft Software... I would call it more evolution than innovation

    And as President... how much of that do you think he could he actually accomplish? Consider: Dem/Rep Congress where those decisions come from and that the President can make flowery speeches, but besides a piece of paper on his desk that he has a choice in signing... he has very little power in getting rid of anything.

    The IRS could use some trimming... we can all agree on that.

    He never said anything about getting rid of public schools that I'm aware of. He just wanted to get rid of the Department of Education at the Federal level. He feels the individual State Boards are doing a good enough job and the Federal level is a waste of resources. (At least, that's how I interpreted it. Never did I get the feeling that he wanted to get rid of Public Schooling though.)

    It doesn't guarantee personal freedoms. It merely states what the States cannot take away. Abortion, choice of partner, and drug usage are not listed... but you can petition the Supreme court to rule over the validity of those State laws and overturn them if you feel they are a violation of the principle of the Constitution. Or... if you are studious, you can coordinate to replace a governor/representatives that disagrees with those in your State opposed to trying to vote out a bad President or convince Fred Smith from Connecticut that his representative is hurting your choice.

    Doesn't the "exceeds authorized access" apply to owned property? (ie: a server, mainframe...) I'm sure this is going to border on that ever popular "ownership" aspect of software.

    XBMC (Eden/Latest) directly streams Revision3 using the Revision3 Video Add-on. I no longer pull down RSS feeds and filter through them. Simply click Video Addon - Revision3 and browse all their shows.

    Yeah, I read it... where in those sentences does it say they will not be doing "a series of low passes ... around parts of Washington D.C." ?
