There is crime and bigger crime.... If you commit a crime to prevent a much bigger and reprehensible crime...the law should help you there....isn't that logical ?!

The less people are bigot anywhere will help reduce bigotism here....just because the flow of information tend to make people aware of other options or way of thinking (at least that what i think but then i am wrong many times !) .
Instead of fighting this in court if the government was really interested in statistics...they could pay a few students to just google for 2 weeks and make their own statistics on how often porn turns up...What's the point of asking a search engine to give this.
Are they really interested to make an argument or is it 1984 revisited...
If there really were a free press and not journalists coniving

Journalists would have gone in iraq and showed that there were no
wmd or that the aluminium pipes were not of the types to be used in
nuclear weapons or that there was no yellow cake deal or....

When is it last that NYT did some real investigative journalism and came promptly to the public about it ? I can't seem to remember !

So according to this suit...remembering stuff from a book and quoting it
in speech or articles or books is unfair use...because reading the whole book and to quote randomly is unfair use...because that's what google is doing...but using a computer to do it !

In simple terms bubbub...you do expect politics not to be involved in many governmental jobs...otherwise you're dead as a duck !
