Googled "power requirements for an artificial magnetosphere for mars" and came up with nothing useful.
Most of the threads that I found of people talking about an artificial magnetosphere were talking about making it cover the entire planet, but wouldn't on only have to put basically a large magnetic shield between the Sun and Mars?
I can see why the answers are favorable, they don't ask the right questions.
Do you think that the TSA has gone overboard and needs to scale back some of their policies?
Do you approve of having a nude image of yourself displayed for complete strangers?
Do you think that the TSA's policies on liquids is irrational?
etc...
You ask
How effective do you think the TSA's procedures are at preventing acts of terrorism on U.S. airplanes?
Well, they are effective, but that is not the issue. The procedures that the Israeli use are more effective, but less intrusive.
It's like there is a complaint about bullshit in McDonald's burgers, so they put out a poll that asks about how fast you get your burger, and since no one can complain about the speed they get their burger the poll results are positive.
The issue is we need to get the bullshit out of the TSA, what they scored positively in the polls doesn't need to change, what needs to change is what was not asked in the polls.
$100 per barrel after 2005 or so: those claims are backed up with money for the first time since the end of the the Soviet Union.
Claims backed by money that will be embezzled quicker than it can be put to use.
And also available online.
One can also usually call for customer support, even with cars.
Funny, the doors on my car can be unlocked by my phone and it is an economy car from Hyundai.
I have an economy car from Hyundai and I can open the doors to my car with an app on my phone.
I have the base model, but the tech package allows you to also start your car with the phone app.
This would not be effected by the pirate station since those signals are sent via the Bluelink system.
Who is talking about damages?
You think this is about a lawsuit?
People are being killed.

That may actually prove to be a good tactic to get them to do better.
In the past most people just call them names, actually posting a corrected version of the submission shows the "editors" what they need to be doing.
Personally bad grammar doesn't faze me, but for the grammar nazis out there this is better than just calling the editors names.
The next big step for mankind will be getting off this rock.
What will motivate us to get off this rock is a lack of terrestrial resources.
So once society gets to the point that it isn't economical to just rape our own planet then we will leave it, but not before that point.
If I shoot something without looking I can be extremely accurate, but I am more likely to completely miss the target.
I am not fuckiing a goddamn moron.
I am a goddamn fucking moron.
Get it straight will ya?
No.
Very stupid bad people used a very paranoid conspiracy theory for the justification of killing people.
The CIA went and made that conspiracy theory true.
You can't see how that is a very wrong thing to do?
Actually I will blame the CIA.
They went and took an urban legend and made it true.
Now when the Taliban says "We killed aid workers because they were spying on us." we can't say they are full of shit anymore.
The good news bad news thing about that is we'll just pump more water out of the ancient aquifers that will never be replenished.
Hey! I have not seen a single tiger since I bought that rock.
Then again I have never seen a tiger.
It's hard to say their procedures are not effective if there hasn't been another successful attack.
I can see why the answers are favorable, they don't ask the right questions.

There's some good poll data on this.
You can get a poll to show anything depending on whom you ask.
He most likely has absolutely no use for firewire and can simply disable it in the bios.
That can be easily disabled in the bios and no one will miss the functionality since no one uses firewire.
Ok, some niche professions use firewire, so probably under 2% of those who have firewire use it.
That is probably the best advice.
The title of your post asks a question, that question is What's-his-name law.
Since the law in question is "If the title asks a question, then the answer is no."
Therefor it is No's Law.
I am there right now, so there.
Don't think so? Then you come up to the moon and prove me wrong.
It makes a bit of sense that if you pay the police to give you access to the accounts that you probably will not be arrested for it.
So yes, if Rupert Mudoch was sitting at his PC guessing, passwords instead of paying the police to, he could very well be in jail.
Why do you think that god was the source of anything?
All that you attribute to god is within you.
So prepare for "Voices from the Hellmouth Part 2"
A gun in hand is quicker than a couple passes with DBAN.
