    I think part of what they were saying is that they are so incompetent that they have to purchase a whole other company so they quit dropping calls.

    The competition they are talking about encouraging is their own ability to compete, not the market itself.

    They have their heads so far up their asses that they can't see anything else.

    Sounds to me that you are the one who is quick to judge.

    1) Why does it matter which state he comes from? Just because California is known for hippies doesn't mean everyone in California is a hippie, same with rednecks from Kentucky. Just because he is from Kentucky does not mean he is a redneck. And if he is a redneck, why does it matter?

    and

    2) Can you confirm that he killed anyone in Vietnam? Can you confirm if he volunteered or was drafted? He might not have volunteered but may have instead made the best of a bad situation after all he was awarded a medal for SAVING lives.

    I think you need to step back and look at why you are judging him in such a way before you go and tell other people how they should judge him.

    At my work we have people sending stuff to a similar domain on a regular basis. We have info@*****inc.com while his is info@*****.com , the owner of the domain is nice enough to forward on the emails at least.

    We don't know the real recipients actual email addresses so we can't warn them and have to read our own email to find out if it is intended for us or not so we can't help but read their email.

    You can find the real recipients actual email addresses with just a little leg work. Just reply to the sender and let them know the situation and ask if they could send you the correct email address or other contact information.

    They may not have broken any laws, that remains to be seen. However, it's clear what they did was unethical and they did not act in good faith. They knowingly attempted to receive misaddressed e-mails. That's not ethical behavior.

    They were attempting to quantify how much a problem this is. Can you suggest other ways this could have been done that you think would have been more ethical?

    While discussing mythical technologies that probably will never exist we don't have to assume nothing.

    But your comment doesn't really make sense because we can't make real gravity. Real gravity does exist and it costs us nothing so yea therefor obviously artificial gravity would cost us more than real gravity.

    Now if you had said "You will need to assume the Energy to produce artificial gravity would be greater then the energy to make fusion." then what you said would make more sense. But I still don't see why I would have to assume that.

    Do you think it is powered by magic? The containment vessel would become radioactive waste.

    Helium ain't exactly pollution. We could use more of it, and if we do ever get enough we can just let it out and it will escape into space.

    But yea, I am fairly sure the mythical 100% hydrogen method of fusion might not see the light of day, but that is what they are aiming at. A hybrid of fusion and fission is probably our best bet though. Hell it works well enough for the hydrogen bomb and the sun.

    I would imagine that the energy companies would jump on a workable fusion reactor like a crackhead on crack.

    Their fuel costs would drop like a rock. They could close down all those coal mines and oil wells. No radiation or pollution for the greens to bitch about so regulations would be rather loose.

    I'm having a problem trying to figure out a way that the energy companies would not make out like a bandit in regards to workable fusion energy.

    That would be the data plan for a smartphone, there is also a data plan for non-smartphones that is less. I point this out because the service you would receive from using this would be much much worse than even their most basic data plan.

    It's like saying you save $250,000 by riding a bicycle to work because otherwise you would buy a Ferrari.

    T-mobile is currently I think the only carrier that you can use a smartphone without a data plan. If this does take off you can bet that T-mobile will change that policy.

    This is not an altruistic act.

    Amazon knows that they are more capable of arranging paying taxes than smaller internet companies.

    The issue of paying local taxes for online purchases goes much further than just state taxes, you also have county taxes in some cases, and even city taxes that have to be collected. Doing this is not easy and Amazon knows this well, but they know if this gets instituted that they will weather this much better than their competitors.

    It is not unusual for large corporations to seek regulations that they are able to abide by, but would hurt their competition.

    It doesn't take understanding to put resister A in hole A. Yes, you have to be able to read resister codes, but otherwise you just need to follow instructions. You only need to understand when things aren't working right, and that is how you end up learning new things.

    Built kits in a class in highschool around 16 years ago, soldering ain't hard.

    T-Mobile is profitable, it's just that it's parent company would like an immediate payday. A 39 billion payday makes investors happier than owning the 4th largest carrier.

    Yes they have lost a few customers, but they have replaced most of them with higher value smartphone customers, while others are moving to their prepaid service which is rather attractive.
