Also, Consumer Reports did real-world testing on hybrids, and the Prius gets the same, overall average as my VW Jetta TDI with a 5-speed manual: 44MPG.

Unfortunately, corporations are seen by the law as a (fictional) person. The can't vote, of course, but they are very powerful people!
