Apparently it's not just the big companies that know squat about technology...
"while 63 percent of all downloaders are male, and 37 percent are female."
I read that 63% are male and immediately wondered 'What are the other 37%?'. Then, lo and behold, they tell me. Thanks for clearing that up, I'd have been up all night.
I say good for them. At least Microsoft is attempting to release a secure product. Sure, it may still have its holes, but this is possibly the most constructive thing they could've done to increase the security of this OS. It's nice to see Microsoft actually paying attention to security as opposed to ignoring it and thinking all the [spy|mal|ad]ware will go away as we've seen them do for 20 years now.
I like Myspace. It's an easy way to connect with people I know, and a good way to meet people I don't. I don't really see why everyone bitches and moans about it the way they do. That said, anyone that uses Myspace on a regular basis can tell you that it's up and down like a yo-yo. So why is this news?
The fact that he painted turbulence is irrelevant. What is relevant, is the accuracy with which he did it. If he is able to make almost exact replicas of turbulence years before scientists discover the relation to turbelence, and how it works, it shows that van Gogh had a much better understanding of it than everyone before (and during) his time. This is just a little insight into the mind of a genius.

Azureus? Netbeans? Eclipse? Aptana? All written in Java. All platform independent. Let's see C# do that.
