I have to agree here. As a long time CoH/CoV player, I would highly recommend it for your situation. The character customization is really fun in itself and tends to be a favorite feature for everyone that plays but especially the women I know enjoy it. The action is fast paced and fun and I'd say about 70% (if not more) of the content is perfect for duos, and you could easily find extra party members if needed.
Also, if one of you starts to outlevel the other, sidekicking allows you to play together or you could even just start characters to only play together and play other characters if you want to solo. The only downside is, 30$ a month for the subscription for both of you.
What's the difference between seeing an ad for a fake company or an ad from a real one? For games that do or will contain advertising for fake companies because of the setting, I don't see this as a problem at all. I do, however, believe putting ads into fantasy based games would just be silly.

Which is why I'm on my fourth iPod in less than a year and none of them were dropped. Flawless!
I welcome our new arboreal robot overlords.
as long as whatever site they buy prevents users from creating the most obnoxious pages on the internet.
I wonder if pre-ordering DNF counts as a long term investment.
I'll bet Schrodingers cat appreciates it 50% of the time.
