I have Intel integrated graphics and I had similar problems, but following line into grub.conf at the end of kernel line fixed it:
pcie_aspm=force i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 i915.lvds_downclock=1 i915.i915_enable_fbc=1
This is ridiculous and obviously there is some paranoid agenda going on; and we are just days short of "finding" WMD in Iran, like they did find in Iraq.

Reasonable-quality audio/video recording equipment is becoming nearly ubiquitous, being embedded in cell phones.
Yet the only "footage" that is available is grainy and poor quality.
As the quality and availability of audio/video recording equipment grows, one would expect the quality of "sighting" recordings to increase, but they aren't.

Probably there are just stored images in svn or something. However great use of powerful tools like cvs, svn, git. I would not be surprised if Apple would do something like this and include it into the Mac OS; following Windows announcement that they developed new technology for browsing website through time, while there would already working alpha, beta in Linux.
The biggest "hoax" or whatever you call it is that you can buy a car which can go faster than maximum speed limit and pay extra taxes and also for speeding violations. Just think about it how much money could be saved if cars could only have 100 HP.
However one could wonder and say, well you can still buy a knife and kill,... well you will not buy a bigger knife if you do not need it, but you will buy a bigger/faster car because of you could show off and just one day by "accident" kill few people also.

Try to single-step it in debugger from the beginning up to main loop.
Agreed and good IDE and debugger is a "life saver"; however that does not mean we should not document the code.
