You realize the movie playing scenes in backwards order was an artistic way to help us experience a little of what it would be like to have no short-term memory, and not that the character actually knew the future only, right?
As I just posted to another reply, sorry, I wasn't clear & apparently I misunderstood you too - I agree source of compensation is irrelevant. He is being compensated for this, it is a business (and therefore licensing applies).
As to your side note, IANAL, but unless they have some protection for being press, yes, IMO they should be held to the same standard when providing advice (and likely, when they do a piece on nutrition they are careful to have a credentialed professional in that segment). As far as an advertisement is concerned, aren't you supposed to tell the most outlandish lie possible when advertising something purporting to have health benefits?
Channel 11 == business (Making money off advertising, held to the appropriate accountability (in theory, anyway) for their industry.)
This guy == business (Making money off advertising, the govt. wants to hold him the the appropriate accountability for his industry.)
This is exactly why I got a "smart" blu-ray player. Added $12 to the cost & now I can have a "dumb" tv and still have the same number of devices. If it dies, it's $100 - a lot cheaper than my plasma.
I don't know why anyone would want electricity in the house. I mean, to have to keep checking the sockets for vapours? What's wrong with a good oil-burning lamp? I heard some people even have electricity in their kitchens! I'll have nothing to do with it, it's just not safe. Don't get me started on telephones.

That's ok, he also isn't aware that HDD mfgrs use the 1000 instead of the 1024 way of counting. He's wrong all over the place &/. "editors" are too busy creating things like/. TV.
Perhaps with GSM systems, but CDMA (VZW, Sprint) locks the ESN so that it can't be used on their system (and neither of them will use a phone from the other system). This is one of the reasons Cricket Wireless is so popular, it is a haven for stolen CDMA phones.
OT WARNING: I agree with Dave, there are many times when cast iron is the best for the job (I also use standard non-stick sometimes, depends on what I'm making). Cast iron is perfect for making cheesy bread - yum!
And humanitarian efforts.
Pogoplugs are great, can plug in 4 drives via USB or more with a USB hub. I paid $25 for mine, can't really go wrong.

No where near as cool as this ...
I should hope not, Guinness should be room temp!
Kidding aside, that's awesome.
Best AC post I can recall reading. Posting as I have more Karma than an AC, and hope to draw attention to his/her post.

What how about the local Channel 11? I don't pay them a penny for their services, they are only paid by advertisers. Just like this guy.

I don't think this is limited to the TV news.
Not true; I have manipulated very high res (3300DPI) copies of the dollar bill in Photoshop. Source
Does a blank DVD has the same value as a movie DVD?
Given a lot of movies lately, I'd say which is worth more is 50/50
So, it has come to this.
