None of that excuses the misogynistic, women-as-objects attitude of "a man today does not really need a wife; a man may need a woman occasionally, but that's a completely different deal".
This applies equally to women. No one *needs* a sex/relationship partner, except on the biological level. There's very little that can be done by two people that can't be done by an industrious individual.
Furthermore, you seem to have a strange victim mindset when it comes to gender behavior. Women are more than capable (and routinely) "need" a woman, as opposed to a husband. Is that, then, misandry? Clearly not.
Again, none of the post you replied to was misogyny. Just because you apparently are exposed to the most idyllic relationship environs this side of a "Full House" re-run, doesn't mean that the statements in the post aren't true.
In a later, buried reply, the OP mentions he plays piano/keys. Getting into a band is a great way to come into contact with many, many women. They're not gonna all be sane, or attractive, but the sheer volume will get you results.
Just don't get into prog rock or any male-centric genres and you'll do fine (or if you do, make it your "side project" and focus on more popularly-accessible genres -- cover bands are profitable and sociable).
For gods' sake man, join a band. You'll be beating them off with a stick if you manage to sound remotely good and aren't in a static genre (i.e. don't spend a lot of time doing math rock).
Putting aside the fact that "pointing out the personal failings that our society nurtures and promotes as normal for many, if not most, women" is not misogyny, I can tell you I know more than a few people who were *very* happy once their divorce was final.
Your anecdotal evidence is great for you, but not representative of the general trend in women in the US (and, I wager, much of the 1st world).
I see no problem with eliminating parts of cities that house people I don't like. Granted, this would depopulate most cities entirely, but nonetheless.
They somehow managed to hand-count ~40M votes in a couple hours. It doesn't take a brain surgeon (or a statistician, in this case) to realize there's something fishy going on.
There's several levels of "volume" licensing. Generally, 10-20 licenses is where it makes sense to not use single licenses, for just this sort of reason.
Using volume licenses also lets you re-use license keys with imaging programs and still stay in compliance, and avoid using "activation" every time you deploy something.
Anyone who manages more than a handful of desktops and isn't using volume licenses with software assurance contracts, but is instead using OEM or retail box licenses in their company is a moron and should be fired.
None of this effects any competently administered IT desktop support departments.
There are certain limitations to the Wii hardware, and the choices that Nintendo has made with regards to the hardware options available.
Could you spend a ton of time doing clever programming to make really nice looking games on the Wii? Sure. Squeezing every little bit out of hardware happens at the end of every console hardware cycle.
But why do that when there's two very powerful consoles available that can do it without breaking a sweat?
It isn't a matter of demanding that the Wii fit into a particularly shaped hole. It's the fact that a 360 or PS3 can be marketed to both casual gamers and hardcore gamers (keep in mind that I think both of those terms are, at best, vague, and probably near-useless in terms of actual population specifiers). The Wii cannot. Yes, you can make some relatively complex games with the Wii, but it will not push the envelope in terms of complex or AAA titles.
Seriously. The article is pretty straightforward and asks a pretty simple question.
The bunch of posts here whinging about how the Wii is superiorblahblahblahwhargarbl are stupid. The Wii can't handle games that require a certain amount of storage and a ton of processing power. The PS3 and 360 can handle casual games.
It'd be a lot easier for the latter to develop a larger casual games base, than the Wii to start being able to handle games that require beefier hardware.

Word of advice, if someone links to a page in a discussion about "anonymous", "/b/", "btards" or "4chan" there is a 99.44% chance clicking on it will get you fired.
I realized about a year or two ago that I no longer really enjoyed just "using the Internet". Back in the late 80's through the 90's there was always something new and interesting to find and learn. These days that sort of feeling exploration is all but gone.
Interestingly enough, Japan, on the other hand, seems to rather like WWII games imported from the US.
Yeah but that doesn't mean he wrote LotR or created the world with the intent to make it a Christian allegory (as opposed to C.S. Lewis).
Arda may in fact be created and encompassed by a single deity, but the rest of the theistic structure doesn't really match.
Microcenter also carries OEM copies in-store if one lives close to them.

You apparently live in the most attractive area for SVU style pedophiles to visit in the US. congrats?

In the gaming context, PnP means "Paper and Pencil". i.e. traditional RPGs like AD&D and so on.
bars are good, but the downside is most of the folks there are alcoholics

Not to mention the perverts who like to kidnap and molest children.
Who, for the most part, don't actually exist.
AFAIK the official line was that the boxes were sealed and were brought to a central location for counting.
This was after the elections observers from the opposition parties were kicked out of the polling places, of course.
Except that, amongst other issues, the turnout in this election is 60%+, and the differences weren't a few votes
Also, Ahmadinejad won in *all* his opponents' home provinces and amongst *all* his opponents' ethnic groups, which is unlikely, to say the least.
Except that you have good transit systems and are counting around 30M fewer votes.

excellent, you actually are one of the few sane posters on this topic.
Which is why, of course, I've been modded as a troll.
Games are NOT meant to be complex.
Oh, that must be why there are no strategy games (since recorded history), RPGs, Adventure, or Puzzle games that have ever had large followings.
Think. Then type.

Time to get a new hobby, I guess.
