That is exactly what I thought. I started with a Palm IIIe, played with a iPaq for a while, but it was too complicated for me. Went back to a Palm m130, and then to a Tugsten e2 because it had bluetooth. I have no complaints: the interface was simple, easy to use, and did everyting it need to do. Palm OS, you will be missed.
On the other hand, I am pretty excited what is possible to do with a linux powered OS. If they do thing right, this could a very interessing PDA.
Learn to read my friend. I said "it had no clue", as in Quicktime had no clue. I double clicked, pressed play, waited for a few seconds and nothing, it went back to the "play" button.
Just goes to show you. This animation that probably didn't have 1% of the resources of the crapfest that is the transformers trailer, is a hundred times better. I'll skip the whole robot design thing and just say one thing: the camera focus on the freaking robot. Die Michael Bay, die a most hedious death.
Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer single player games. I have the impression that today all that is important to a game is the graphics and FPS rate. Where is the next Grim Fandango? I want a new rpg-like game that is not Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, with a good story.
That's exactly what I thought. Oh, the good years of my first experiences with IM. The joy when they merged the chat with the messages. I wonder if my account still works.
I have a friend that has a very interesting theory of why the original SW trilogy was a great success. Lucas only directed episode 4. And it was a lucky shot. After he saw it was a success, he knew he wouldn't be be able to make another accidental success, that's why episodes 5 and 6 had each a different director. If you need more prove of this, just watch episodes 1 to 3. It is a real mess, not to mention completely destroying the hard work of the original trilogy.
I also trust in creators, that's why I don't trust in Lucas.

The fact that we are born babies and evolve into people is evidence enough to dispel the myth of evolution. If we were born monkeys, then there would be billions of monkeys in the world as there are billions of people. This does not equate. People have called me stupid for expressing my facts, but I am far from stupid. I took an IQ test at my church school, and I scored 95. You cannot get more than 100% and so I am in the top 5% of the smartest people in the world. chew on that disbelievers.
As a matter of fact, they do. Did you ever try to return a PC game in a "real" store. It is a real pain in the ass, that's for sure.
With the pirates, you say you want to change the disc, and voila, in a moment they go into the back of the store and come back with a new copy.
Look, let's get one thing clear: I'm against piracy. I go to the stores and buy the CDs because I want to give something back to the artist, even though it's just a minimum percentage from the US$20 I pay. But I can't deny that the pirates have a better customer service:P
Look, don't get me wrong, there is middle class in Sao Paulo, and it is quite expressive. There is a huge inequality in Sao Paulo, but it is not so different from NY or Mexico City, or any other metropolis.
But my point here is that p2p is in no way ruining "physical" piracy. As far as I know, those pirate stores most likely use p2p to get their stuff.
I have. I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We have dozens of "physical pirates", and I think they are doing pretty well, considering they are open for years. And I'm not talking about Mr. Tony with the CDs on the side walk, I'm talking about whole BUILDINGS with pirate stores, that sells movies and games as they are launched in the US, and sometimes sooner. Ask anyone who lives in Sao Paulo and they will tell you the same thing.
Within the DRM formats, Apple's is the most lenient and the that givess the less trouble to the user. If this take on DRM is serious, why don't they attack the draconian DRM formats like MS and EMI? Ok, ok just create a story with "Apple" and you will get a headline, but other than that, why don't they attack the companies that create the worst DRM formats?
Well, she didn't come back per se, but there was a story of a daughter of Gwen with the *green goblin*. Obviously, the daughter was pratically the twin sister of Gwen, so I would count as a come back with the "no-I-am-actually-her-daughter" ending.
First of all, thanks for the serious reply, I thought I was gonna be trolled like there were no tomorrow. Secondly, I think that though the media is definitely different as you pointed out so well, this does not mean that we should have an story that lasts for 60 years, and for one main reason: no one is that creative. It's impossible to have a 60 year storyline that is coherent, and still draws atention from the readers. That's why DC revamps the whole universe every 5 years or so.
Regarding the focus on the writer, instead of on the characters, I think that is a good thing. I admit that I, myself does not know by heart many people that work in comics (writers, artists, etc), but you could always use something like "from the creators of Astounding X-Men, comes -insert new comic here-".
Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest console RPGs, in my book at least. It has story, great characters and time travel. Final Fantasy 6 was great too, but I only got half of the game. And before anyone tells me, yes I know this games are from decades ago.

Instead of a OMG bill, could I have a poneys bill? or even a OMG Ponies!!1!one bill?
I am so sorry, but I have to say this: If linux could excel, they wouldn't have any problem, would they?
Man, you should have instant +5 insightful. Or maybe just +10 Funny.

I have quicktime 7.1.5 on a winXP machine, and it still had no clue what to do with that qtl file.

Actually, I just tested it in ICQ2go and it still works :D
On the other hand, all the contacts were offline...hehehe

I don't know about that, but I know Skywalkers in Korea cross Han Solo.

That means I won't need to swim across the atlantic to get to moscow?
When was this released? Or did they already developed their own version of The Time Machine?
I think it is very interesting to find that even the editors know that this is a "slow news day"kind of thing.
Where the fuck is my flying car!?!?!1one
In the UK, the camera stops you!
