I am an intelligent man and I demand an intelligent medium by which to be educated.

What does that even mean? I suppose when you run a meeting you put everything together in a video presentation using Macromedia Director that link to sources. After the meeting you give everyone a CD copy so they can view it at their desk. Sure it takes you a month and a budget to get your 15 minute presentation together, but damn its so intelligent.

Videos on YouTube go up like 3-5 minutes after you upload them. Google Video goes through a process that takes a day or two. This helps slow down impulse uploading. Why show off a cool video to your friends online that isn't yours on Google Video that will take a day or two. It's faster to post it on YouTube where it will be up in minutes and you are still excited about it.

It's nice that TV's will be able to play 90% of the colors the eye can see, but what about video cameras. Will the technology play into recording 90% of the color we can see. Currently SD NTSC is what like under a million colors. Whats the point of having a TV that can play more colors if the devices we use to shoot with can record less.

Now I know HD has a larger color spectrum, but is it 90% of what the human I can see?

Plus product placement can still play a big role for advertisers even on iTunes, where there are no commercials. It would be interesting to see if product placement would work better on a generation if they weren't bombarded with ads all the time. Maybe they would notice the products more.

Of course product placement wouldn't work on a show like LOST, since all the products say Dharma.
