    That depends on what state you are in, several states allow the use of deadly force to defend ones property.

    The federal government of the United States should not blame China for this, it's called being Shanghaied for a reason, and it's not a new term.

    Too bad CBS will likely kill this the same way they killed the free Android tricorder. They claim to own the LCARS interface.

    Having checked out the project's page, it doesn't use LCARS, so that won't happen.

    You didn't look at the page very much.

    The attack involves rooting the phone and flashing custom firmware onto it in order to bypass the passcode. Encryption defeats this attack since they will only see encrypted data.

    If you can build a star ship I doubt you would rely on a technology as old as GPS, you would likely have a much better way of determining where you are on a planet.

    These days you sign a release of liability that covers the doctors from pretty much any lawsuit before you go into surgery.
