We evolved to the point where we could question our own existence. Questioning an existence that is as simple as being born, reproducing, and then dying. It's not surprising to me that our minds create a belief, true or false, in a more supreme being in the interest of not just becoming emo kids.
God vs./wrist
Left to its own, I doubt the media or the government will take any action against these companies. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the whole issue be swept underneath the rug. But perhaps this is the first stone that will topple the giant.
Perhaps with the appropriate public backing this will go somewhere. Write your politicians. Write your local news. But whatever you do, do NOT start an online petition.
Hell yeah. It was art! Unique story, intriguing characters, amazing soundtrack. This is like da Vinci putting out a "Mona Lisa nude in various places about town" series of paintings. No. No no no. Just no.
Why won't George Lucas stop screwing with art? Just stop George. Someone needs seriously just hit him until he forgets that he has the legal power to do crap like this.
I really only prefer to read while on the crapper. It's the only time I really have for it. Real books sit nicely on the shelf in my bathroom as opposed to my computer which having in the bathroom would make it difficult to wipe.
Takes you to a Google Map with less functionality and no link back to the main Live search. Only way to get back to the actual searching is via backbutton or manually typing it back into the Address Bar.
Simplicity is a virtue that Microsoft regularly ignores. The additional features on the main page and the loading graphics are just unnecessary. And apparently using a normal scroll bar isn't good enough to look through your results.
Their algorithm could deduce the meaning of life and I'd still use Google just so I didn't have to deal with that UI.
The answer is the Editor-In-Chief of CoolTechZone.com, Gundeep Hora. He (she?) is one of three people working on that site. As far as I can tell there are three things on the site. 1) A forum not often visited. 2) A shit ton of ads. 3) Bullshit news reports.
1) Go look at it. Most of the posts come from the three admins.
2) Half of the shit on there is an advertisement. Text ads in the left column. Box ads on the right column. Banner ads at the top. Banner ads at the bottom. And in article ads that pop up on mouse-over.
3) All the news reports are written by the three admin. They fall into one of two categories, as far as I can tell. They're either opinionated and devoid of fact (such as the aforementioned). Or they're summaries of other articles from other news sites with no mention of where they got the information.
---
So, what it seems that we have is a bullshit news website created to generate revenue that was just slashdotted. I hope they don't get paid by the number of hits to their site.
---
Interesting side note, at the bottom it says they're a division of iTech Media. Apparently, the future is pink...?

I don't know much about ocean currents and how they work, but my electricity driven mind makes me think that putting a bunch of turbines in the middle of the ocean current will cause the current to adjust its path to go around them. Right?

Perhaps, but World of Warcraft is ushering in a whole new generation. So the lapse is temporary, at best.
I, for one, welcome our new Blogger overlords.
UO chemical addictions were easy to break. Two words: In Nox.
[...] the measured field is a surprising one hundred million trillion times larger than Einstein's General Relativity predicts.
It's been a while since I took a math class but I believe one hundred million trillion is roughly equal to a gajillion.
The more of this generation that's discouraged from going into computers, the more sought after I'll be.

Hot peppers saved my ass.

Wow. Just wow. Click a search result. Hit back. It has to load the results again. Just wow.

*high five, Bill!*

(I should've used the Preview button.)

I've come to rely on random cell phones to keep me awake during boring lectures.
