Free download no but..... Xcode comes with every install of OSX.

The App store deal is if you want to get the latest and greatest version of Xcode. I'm pretty sure that if you pay the App Store $5 for XCode that it includes lifetime updates.
So you have a couple of choices to get XCode: stick with the Xcode version that came with your Mac OS install, join the dev program for $99, pay $5 bucks at the AppStore or update to the latest Mac OS every time it comes out.
About time! There are not many people that you can toast their death to but i am giddy right now. Fuck you bin landen. i hope you are suffering you goat fucker.
Using the interface builder that ships with X-Code as a template should give Google a great starting point as to what it should do. They should copy the instrumentation capability from X-code while they are at it.
Have the Ready-NAS and it has been perfect. No downtime in 3 years except to upgrade the firmware. The Web based administration console has come a long way and is very useful. If you don't have time to muck around building your own box this is the way to go. Quiet, competitively priced, and works well.
A benifit of this design is that you can relocate the "pump" card so that you may be able to gain back one of those PCI slots that the dual slot cards typically take over. Of course you just wind up losing a different slot.

Yes, if you setup your App Store account using your iTunes account information.

Beacause we all know that as long as the Machine is "Vista Capable" it will perform better then XP on 4 year old hardware.

I have the X6 also. Love it. Fast and quiet. Infrant has excellent support also. True hardware raid unlike the Buffalo terastation IIRC.
