Its surprising. I was in Beijing in the summer of 2008, and I thought the pollution was pretty bad then. I was so relieved (breathing-wise) when I left Beijing for Tokyo. You could immediately tell that the quality of the air was better.
Actually, I'm glad I didn't rush out and invest that kind of cash on the 360. I can't remember, but I don't seem to recall any horrible defects reported when the N64, PS2 or Dreamcast came out. Could this be because of the haste for hype and market penetration?
Sony hasn't created much in the way of cool stuff in the past few years (excepting maybe the PSP). What happened? Nowadays there isn't any compelling reason or urge to buy Sony products -- I don't think Sony realizes this. If they can't move into making truly unfettered media systems, they'll never be able to compete.
Heck, I'll keep my cheapo chinese/korean mp3 player...i've already tossed my MD (minidisc? what's that?) into the 'loo....
I left work to get one of the 55 PSPs being sold at the local toy store. [mind you, I own a DS too, and love it] The PSP is really beautiful. Games are nice, buttons don't stick. I'd NEVER stand in the rain for one of them though. Better to call early in the morning and take a nice break during working hours!:)
I love taking panoramic shots with my camera, but the stinkiest part has always been stitching all the images back together. I haven't seen any package like this before...too bad its not open source:)

But what kind of loot does it drop?
I can't see this ever happening
I guess I'm referring to the original ps2....I do recall the problems with the slimline version.

woohoo!
I guess this doesn't include the 360 COD?
Tokyopia gave a review in July of some of the first UMD pr0n coming out from Japan. They also come with an, ahem, game of sorts...
