Just because the LINUX mascot is Tux the penguin doesn't mean that every article related to penguins needs to be posted.

The article is about people visiting penguin habitats, not the other way around.

And as someone mentioned, they stink.

We've had enough trouble with the Quebec French in Canada. Things like laws that prohibit non-French signs, speaking English publically, things like that. Anyone ever heard of "Dunkirk"? It was a major battle during WWII. But the French call it Dunkirque. Well, it's actually Dunkirk, because the people there don't speak French as their native language. Or didn't. Now they do, as they are being forced into French schools.

When Microsoft hears about a problem, they try not to reveal information until the patch is complete. This is probably because in the past they have developed a reputation for taking weeks to issue a patch. It's important that we work to correct these misconception.

I've spent time in IRC channels like #linux trying to explain to migrating Windows users how to install various distributions of LINUX. I usually give up after I figure out that people have been telling them to go Debian because "it's the best". People, for a semi-knowledgeable user migrating to LINUX who is willing to look up info on security patches regularily, please tell them to go with an easier distribution.

Users who have too much trouble go away saying "LINUX sux" because they can't figure out Debian. Probably half the users are coming to LINUX to try out xxx game (like Quake2). So please keep this in mind if you recommend a distribution to users.
