Having only bought AMD for over 5 years now I have never even tried to buy an Intel based motherboard, is this staement true has anyone had purchasing problems with Intel based M/boards?

I wont say much more, you can guess my opinion on this subject.
Its such a shame it has to be this way.
The industry seems to be filled with low grade college techs who think there is money in IT or wannabe geeks who think they know what they are doing but do more harm then good.
Since leaving my desktop support role I have seen my company slowly grind to a halt because these people cannot cope with anything more than a reformat and reinstall. I could only just convince them that disk images are a good idea in the corp environment.
Or is it just where I work?
Please tell me its just where I work!

Everything is provided for you so you dont need to work.
I see it all the time here in Britan everyone acts like they are a celebrity and are born with the right of everything being handed to them on a plate.
The work ethic is left to us few....
Shame you dont live in Britan, an employer is not allowed to restrict you from interviews etc. All you have to do is give some notice "Ill be out Wednesday afternoon got a job interview" They dont pay you for the time obviously but if they try to use it against you its a constructive dismissal/bullying in the workplace case. You can take them to court while still employed, add on 3rd parties in disiplineys, union representation (Regardless of your companys "views" on unions) etc mean you can really mess your employer about and they cant touch you.
Dude the kingdom for sale series is not Terry Pratchett!
Its a different Terry author.
As a pratchett lover I say start at the start of the discworld series and follow it through.
The series builds on itself and lots of later jokes are referenced from earlier books. The the series matures as it goes along and characters grow with it.
