chinese movie(nothing special), revenge for a master/wife/husband death + master teaching
his students and etc.
Action, well, in what planet where they filming
this, why don't they just fly all the time,
and skip the walking bullshit all together.

You can't even compare this to Matrix. Matrix was
original, where effects where just incredible and
somewhat believible.

bought parts that you wanted.
You said you bought Dell, well a lot of people
recomend that brand. But I found them sleeping
in bed with Intel. No matter how slow/expensive
Intel chips are, they still buy them.
A lot of things can determine the speed of the system not just CPU. For instance you could get RAID with 2HD, this will double your HD performace(if you use striping 0, or 0+1) HD performance is where you gonna see the difference(you always buy the fastes HD available) because it's the slowest link in the system, Memory is also important I found 128 is not enought if you use more then one application.
I love it.
I probobly used, about every OS operating systems out there, and so far, I think QNX has one of the nices interfaces out there.
Hopefully It will get some following from open source community.
I know most of you never heard or even seen this game, since I grew up in Soviet Union, we had this 'mechanical' arcade, where you had to shoot ships from you submarine periscope.
I remember spending all my money on it, of course this was pre atari days. And when I say mechanical: it didn't have any tv screen, just model ships and lights:)
Make a second website, that will contain non-technical news. Something in the order of CNN, but when we have the voice to respond, and argue about certain issues.
I don't really read/watch any news media anymore, because of the B.S. they provide: Stories on Kosovo are absolutely one way only: USA is good & SERBIA is evil, the only thing I see U.S. press worried about now : is 3 captured soldiers, while last week U.S airforce just killed 30 people, when they hit civilian bus. But I only heard once about this accident.(It seems that Serbians became barely a number, since they are evil.)
Something I want to touch on: Never think you know everything, because you will always find something that you don't, sure you can learn coding in C++ from the books, and you can a get a hot job with that. But what happend in 10 years, when we industry switch to Java or ADA95(lol), the only reason you go to school is to be smarter, it won't learn anything by memorizing Periodic table, you just have to know how it works, same thing with Math, nobody will remember what they learned in Calculus, but the process of solving the problems, makes your brain to think differenly and logically, I consider this very important. Periodic tables, formulas, dates, and etc., can be all found in the books, but the process how it all works is what important.
I'm somewhat agree with you, but I think the real issue here is the constant bashing that outcasts recieve during their High Schools/ Jr. H years. Outcats can be anybody : a different color, different race, different anything. It's just that slashdot represents geek comunity more then anything else.
P.S. I went to public Jr. High school that was the more hellish experience for me, I got picked on because I was white(yes those things exists in the inner cities), and for beeing different race (Russian.)
Thank god, I went to a small private school, that had very small budget(I paid only $5,000 a year) but had great teachers and students, who wanted to achive something in their future. I'm an engineering student now, because of that. (And I have a great part-time job).
